* Early on in the show Sea Slug thought he was the leader of the Rubber-Robo Gang. Dr. Meta-Evil put him there in case the whole gang was ever arrested, that way Sea Slug would be fingered as the supreme leader, allowing the Doctor to continue operating in the shadows. After Sea Slug proved to be too much of a failure, Shrimplips got "promoted" to the position.

* We know that Robo Emperor that Sea Slug used against Rokusho was the prototype that was too powerful to be sold. We also know that Zuru's father split with Dr. Akki, at least in part, because they disagreed with how powerful Medabots could be, leading him to create Kilobots such as Red Run and Gryphon. It would make sense therefore that Zuru's father built Robo Emperor, possibly even that it was an argument over him that caused Zuru's father to quit.
