This would not only make the MCU stand out completely from the comics, but it gives Marvel Studios endless possibilities on who they can bring to the table next.

However, his comic backstory will have to be rewritten for the MCU, as his father, Mar-Vel, was GenderFlip to a female (Wendy Lawson) in ''Captain Marvel''.
