[[WMG: Alternatively, Jack's father is Cygnus, the coach of Beggin.]]
The Night Swan event revealed her real name to be Leda - in Greek Mythology it was the name of a woman seduced by Zeus while he was in the form of a swan. And while this could represent how she was "seduced" by the Traveler, who could be seen as the Zeus equivalent with Si'ha Nova as his Hera, their's another layer to this: Cygnus in Latin translates to ''swan'', and is the name of the according constellation, itself based off the Swan!Zeus myth.
* "Darkest Hour" shows her dancing alone in a city of giant machines as she succumbs to the darkness inside of her to become Night Swan. This is most likely to be located in Eternyx, the world Cygnus represents in the Eurovision season. It's possible she ended up there after having a falling out with the Traveler (either from him choosing to reunite with Si'ha Nova, her starting to misuse the powers she learned from him for selfish reasons, or something else) and crossed paths with Cygnus.
* Cygnus' outfit is a different style, but it's still the same bright red color as Jack's suit. (The similarities are such that people thought he might be Jack's brother at first before that was jossed.)

* Their designs match, with both having vintage influences (he goes for a {{steampunk}} look while hers is [[The50s Fifties]]-inspired) and both of their color schemes prominently featuring warm colors like bronze and orange and rosy hues of red. "Happier than Ever"'s coach even wears some blue beads that match/go along with Cygnus' hair and lipstick.
* Both of them perform aggressive choreographies that feature plenty of thrashing.
* "Happier than Ever"'s lyrics are about the narrator calling out her toxic ex for all the harm he caused her, and making it clear she's better off without him. "Beggin'" could be seen as a response to this, showing Cygnus' change of heart and regret over his previous actions.
** Notably, one lyric in "Beggin'" goes "'Cause I don't wanna live in a broken home". Perhaps, instead of the traditional meaning, the term "broken home" is meant to be taken literally, alluding to how "Happier than Ever" shows its coach destroying her house in a fit of UnstoppableRage--and with Cygnus being an inventor and architect, it makes sense for him to be concerned over this.

** The quote for the Kid of the Swan Legendary avatar also alludes to this, with Jack stating that Night Swan thinks "we aren't trying hard enough" to be perfect. Considering that in "Treasure" we see Jack create his clones by pulling the reflections out of the mirrors around him, it makes sense to think of "we" as referring to said clones; if the original Jack isn't "trying hard enough" to be perfect, then neither are his clones.

** The specific phrasing used seems to imply neither Night Swan nor Jack are of royal blood (otherwise he would've been straight-up called a prince), but that his other parent is royalty through marriage. WordOfGod has confirmed the Traveler is, in fact, not a deity, so it's possible to think of him as "marrying into royalty", so to speak.

Michael even wears a cloak like the Traveler's at one point!

In reality, the three of them were turned into Swan Soldiers like all the others. The panda paw signal sent by Mihaly to Jack isn't a glimpse of what's actually happening, but a more dolled-up, somewhat hopeful illusion depicting what Mihaly thinks ''could'' happen to them now that they've been defeated, retaining some of their individuality even under Night Swan's servitude and reassuring Jack they can still be saved. As for "Tainted Love", the music is real but the visuals are all in Jack's head; it's [[ImagineSpot what he's imagining to be happening]], based off the illusion he's been shown and the loud music coming from his mother's ship, as he makes his way out of Swan Tower to the Eternyx dock, only for the action to snap back to reality at the end to show him missing the ship.

Given the subtle hints towards him and Sara being made into an OfficialCouple, as well as the foreboding aspect of ''2024 Edition'''s story playlist, which seems to be headed for an ending in which TheBadGuyWins, it's highly likely the story will conclude in ''2025 Edition'', and once Night Swan is vanquished once and for all, most likely by Wanderlust in his new SuperMode, he'll realize ItSucksToBeTheChosenOne, stepping down from his duties and bidding his family, friends and the Danceverses a bittersweet farewell to go live a normal life with Sara on Earth.

* The Traveler, Wanderlust and Jack all seem to possess some kind of [[ThePowerOfGlass mirror manipulation power]]. With the former two, this makes itself apparent through Discoball, while Jack showcases this through the full-length mirrors that surround him in his solo maps. Both Discoball and Jack's mirrors appear to function in similar ways, acting more as screens rather than actual mirrors, and both have been confirmed to be susceptible to being hijacked by Night Swan's Dark Flow. Also notable is Jack of all characters singing the line "dancing like a discoball" in "If You Wanna Party", which is otherwise an odd creative choice considering Jack never even interacts with Discoball.
* In general, Wanderlust and Jack appear to have been conceived by the creative team as {{foil}}s to each other, with vastly opposite parental relationships and personalites, as well as contrasting designs and elements of FashionableAsymmetry that mirror each other (Wanderlust's capelet vs. Jack's FluffyFashionFeathers). This was possibly done to establish them as "light and shadow" half-brothers who start out at odds but find common ground, in a subversion of CainAndAbel.

For meta reasons: because the dancer for this map is Little Siha, the person Si'ha Nova was named after. For non-meta reasons: she seems to be able to manipulate the settings around her, suggesting she might have dimensional powers as well. As for why she's not involved in the story, she's very independent and prefers honing her dance skills on her own as opposed to wandering the Danceverses like her brother.

During Night Swan's takeover of the official ''Just Dance'' Twitter account via Dark Discoball, her caption for "Treasure"'s teaser states that she knows Jack's power and weakness. The map for "Treasure" shows Jack engaging in SelfDuplication via the mirrors around him, and within the main story, the only character we've seen who possesses the same ability is the Traveler.

[[WMG:The Danceverses storyline will ultimately end with Wanderlust leaving the Danceverse to be with Sara on Earth.]]
Among the new avatars included in ''2024 Edition'', we have a new Wanderlust avatar showing the character in a new, powered-up look, complete with [[HeroicBuild more muscular proportions]] and a cape/cloak similar to that of the Traveler. However, while Wanderlust looks happy in the illustration, the quote that comes along with it is noticeably less so:
-->"What if I choose not to be chosen? Don't I have a say?"
