* During the main TV series, Erika is an abrasive and mean character who commands a Tiger II and shouts at her own crew, only getting hints of being nice towards the end. While she becomies somewhat more cooperative during the movie, it's likely more for Maho's sake than Miho's. However, in Das Finale, she gets a fair bit of character development having succeeded Maho as Kuromorimine and her insecurities start showing until the match against Pravda in which she takes the as yet unprecedented action of changing command tank (Pzkpfw III), and celebrating her victory joyfully (with none of the previously shown meanspiritedness). From her appearances in Das Finale 3 & 4, she's sincere, wears her heart on her sleeve, and focused, but is more than willing to get her hands dirty (she conducts personal reconaissance on foot and takes the lead in any important action) and change plans if they need changing. The preference of using the Panzer III as a command tank is notable, since it's not very suitable for the role being fragile and poorly armed in comparison to Kuromorimine's other available options. But it's a favourite among drivers so inclined (more 'fun' than Tiger I, certainly). Between this and her state of mind while in each vehicle, and it being obvious she prefers the Panzer III over either Tiger I or II (or even Panther), it's not unlikely that she holds this preference for more than just her tactics.

** Confirmed.

** I have no idea what this troper is getting at, since Norway had only one tank ever actually used (the Swedish-made Landsverk L-120). It is later revealed that [=VFHS=] uses tanks that were used in Norway (Neubaufahrzeug) or tanks inherited by the post-war Norwegian government (Panzer IIIs, M24 Chaffees)

** Further tanks they use include the T-26, T-34/76, KV-1, and [[spoiler:StuG III Ausf.G / Sturmi]]

to:

** Confirmed for the T-15. In the manga they use tanks such as the AMC 35 and the M4(105) Sherman.

** [[spoiler: Das Finale Part 4 shows that the St. Gloriana's team has a Centurion. Alice's Centurion, probably?]]

to:

** Confirmed for both.

* It would be a fitting BookEnd to the series as a whole, as St. Gloriana's was the first team that Ooarai was seen fighting and the only major team they've yet to score a win against. In addition, it could also allow us an opportunity to see various other British tanks that have yet to appear, like the A39 Tortoise, Cromwell and the Comet.

! St. Gloriana's as the final opponent will various new tanks against the Ooarai team.

* There are a large number of British tanks which have yet to appear in the series, so it is possible that they could show more tanks used by the British during the finale.
* Possible candidates for new tanks:
** A39 Tortoise - every final team Ooarai has faced includes some variant of superheavy tank (Kuromorimine had the Maus, UAS had the T28 Doom Turtle). The only superheavy tank that would fit the bill here would be the A39 Tortoise - a British superheavy tank.
** TOG - alternatively, as prototype vehicles have also made their way into the series, the St. Glorianas mechanics could have restored an old TOG and send it into battle against the Ooarai team.
** Challenger: These would be fast heavy tanks that essentially would be the Tigers of the Gloriana team. There might be only one or two though. They IRL could keep up with the Cromwell, so I could see them being used to assist Rosehip and her need-for-speed antics.
** Cromwell and Comet: These tanks are esentially superior versions of the Crusader that could be used as Gloriana's ace up their sleive against Ooarai. Because Gloriana doesn't seem to make heavy use of heavy tanks and instead relies on smaller older Matilda and Crusader tanks, it is possible that they could employ the two mentioned tanks in place of the Crusaders as their trump card.

At least one station was ready to broadcast on January 9th, but because the show will be renewed, they had to completely redo Episodes 11 and 12 to allow a second season. Girls Und Panzer is popular enough to create a second season. As the main page states, the show was a runaway (and unexpected) hit. The first two BDs sold about 30,000 copies each. A typical show does more like 4,000. It'd be odd if the production team ''weren't'' at least contemplating a sequel/second season. Indeed, according to Website/TheOtherWiki, the Japanese newspaper ''Joyo Shimbun'' reported on December 24th, 2012, that a sequel is tentatively planned.

* The Super-Carrier High Schools - Given how it's obvious Japan is far more militarized than in the real life timeline, for simply having what amount to wargames as a high-school course, the super-carriers are possibly an attempt to give the high-schools the opportunity to maneuver if the mainland of Japan is attacked. The Delinquents simply never left the ship as their protest against the closing. ! Oarai's school funds are being embezzled on a massive scale and laundered through MEXT's new league program.

Whatever weird logistics are allowing school ships to run at all, they're still working fine. While Oarai is on the low side for attendance, and this is why it's the example of a failing school to be shut down, its financial problems are mostly due to the embezzlement. Closing the school allows for scattering everybody who has intimate knowledge of its operations, while making it possible to finish cleaning up its paper records and liquidate its remaining assets, eliminating any remaining hard evidence as to what was happening and who profited. This also means that by the endpoint of this the people involved really ''need'' Oarai shut down, ASAP, because they're at increasing risk as long as it stays open. (Especially if they're getting greedier towards the end, anticipating the final payoff.) The opening of a new and presumably highly profitable sensha-do league is a good place to funnel large amounts of money to later be more openly reclaimed, and so the MEXT official isn't being a jerk over the whole matter in The Film simply to be an officious jerk, but because he's involved and he'd rather look like a jerk than risk looking like a criminal helping to ruin a school.
