Yes, I know that this seems completely nuts, but I noticed two clues that point towards this being possible.
# Gadget is ''nowhere'' in the trailer outside of a flashback. Why would Disney not include one of the biggest stars from the show? Maybe all of her clips are spoilers?
# The reason Chip and Dale get back together is because one of their old co-stars is missing. Considering how much the two cared for Gadget, her being missing would be a major reason for them to set aside their differences to help find her.

Despite its unusual aesthetic, the movie will remain true to the spirit of the original show as it follows Chip and Dale as they set off on a new adventure with their old friends. There will also be many references to certain episodes scattered throughout the movie. In short, the movie will serve as a tribute to the show and its impact on pop culture.

Throughout the series, Gadget has a habit of pulling comically large tools out of nowhere, such as a glass cutter as tall as she is, [[CrazyPrepared which she only carries around whens he wants to cut glass]]. This isn't ToonPhysics at work, but is actually one of Gadget's inventions. She's also given one to Chip, which is where he stores his magnifying glass and the coil of rope he often uses.

All we know about what happened between Monty and Geegaw in Zanzibar is that it involved cheese bread. And we ''all'' know what happens when Monty is around cheese. In the series itself, those attacks almost got the Rangers hurt or killed on several occasions. Perhaps Monty had an attack that nearly led to Geegaw being seriously injured or killed, leading to a heated argument over them.

* In "Rest Home Rangers", Nimnul reveals the FOGIE[[labelnote:*]]Fast Oldness Generating Instrument Experimental[[/labelnote]] Ray, an [[RapidAging aging ray]] that is fueled by prunes. Later in the episode, the ray accidentally hits some plum seeds, which causes them to instantly grow into mature trees bearing many plums. Theoretically, one could use the FOGIE to grow a single plum seed into a tree, harvest the plums, then age a few of them into prunes to refuel the FOGIE. You could then grow many more trees with the seeds from the first tree, and continuously keep multiplying from there, even using the FOGIE Ray to grow other fruits and vegetables indefinitely.

That might be the major reason why Monty joined Rescue Rangers; Chip n Dale reminded him about how much fun he and Geegaw had.
