* Semi-confirmed? ''WesternAnimation/{{Pibby}}'' is possibly that bigger crossover event, [[WhatDoYouMeanItsNotForKids although it's]] [[SubvertedKidsShow made for]] Creator/AdultSwim and doesn't feature CN City or Strike at all.

[[WMG:Strike is TheDragon for [[WesternAnimation/EdEddNEddy The Static]].]]
The Static was happy to [[AllPowerfulBystander stay behind the scenes]] and let Strike take care of any heroes who's stories it decided were over. But [[NiceJobBreakingItHero after KO and team defeated him]] it decided [[YouHaveFailedMe he couldn't be relied on]] so [[WesternAnimation/TheAmazingWorldOfGumball it chose to get]] [[WesternAnimation/{{Pibby}} involved more directly]].

Dork Age was renamed

[[WMG: Strike is an AllegoricalCharacter for Stuart Snyder’s presidency of Cartoon Network.]] Strike was hellbent on taking out all of the heroes of the cartoons, much like how he pushed more live action shows in 2008. He also has a hard time taking out WesternAnimation/Ben10, a show that actually was one of the few things that kept the channel together in its DorkAge. Finally, well, during the presidency, CN City was dropped as well, much like its destruction in the TV Special.

[[WMG: Crossover Nexus is Creator/CartoonNetwork dipping their toes into a bigger {{crossover}} event]] It would heavily explain why Strike is taken out so easily with nothing remaining but his mechanical arm, but also how some of the characters seem a bit stilted compared to their canon counterparts and the fast pace of the plot.
