Consequences: The drug cocktail in his blood is also why he's so perpetually cheerful and unbothered by anything - his brain is just a mega mess of it's natural state and whatever Urahara uses to stop himself from going Ax-Crazy. And it's also why his Shikai isn't terribly interesting - just some techniques that aren't much better than kidou. He's pulling a Yumichika and not actually using his full power. Same for Bankai - full release of that is just unending, mass scale destruction. It's also possibly the reason behind why he doesn't fight very often - maybe using his reiatsu also burns out the drug mixture quicker, making him more likely to lose control the longer he fights.

Spiky red hair, childhood trauma, a father who used to be heavily involved in the supernatural world, a distorted mental world, and a hero complex? Check, check, check, check, and check. Hell, just look at [[http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/bleach/images/9/91/45Zangetsu_makes_blades.png/revision/latest?cb=20130604022654&path-prefix=en Ichigo's Bankai training.]] It bears an uncanny resemblance to Unlimited Blade Works.

[[WMG: Urahara is really screwed up in the head, knows it, and keeps himself drugged to the gills.]]
Okay, this is very far fetched, but hear me out.
Urahara has some kind of disorder that, if he didn't use a mixture of tranquillisers + antidepressant + calming drugs+ a whole slew of other chemicals, would lead him to go on murderous rampages that he would have no control over, or memory of.
Evidence:
He had said himself that his Zanpaktou spirit isn't very nice - Zanpaktou spirits are part of their Shinigami - he knows that he himself isn't 'nice'. He tends to really understate things.
Kurotsuchi himself thinks that Urahara is creepy.

Consequences: The drug cocktail in his blood is also why he's so perpetually cheerful and unbothered by anything - his brain is just a mega mess of it's natural state and whatever Urahara uses to stop himself from going Ax-Crazy. Ok we don't know much about Ichigo's mom, Masaki's parents, and the Quency are supposed to be form around the world. So considering that he has unnatural(by Japanese standards anyway) orange hair. It wouldn't be wrong to assume it could be a possibility that Ichigo is part Irish with his Irish grandparent's name being [[MeaningfulName Alister]].

Like a guy who's studied a subject so often he knows it on an instinctually subconscious level, Aizen is actually the mixed up, time displaced reincarnation of an otaku from our reality, and while having lost all or most of his memories due to the process realizes gut deep the inferior nature of reality around him and thus is able to effortlessly manipulate all those around him and predict events simply by following a (not so) complex shonen protagonist formula and treating everyone like the stale archetypes they are. (take a breath) Realizing that he can succeed with patience against the relative dimwits around him, he seeks to overthrow the 'King', free the Hollows, Humans and Shinigami from the tired formula they're forced into playing and ultimately spread out over all similar realities building a geometrically increasing army until he's powerful enough to conquer the prime reality of shonen manga and gain true ultimate power...{{Dragon Ball Z}}.

Or maybe she's an [[ComicBook/{{X-Men}} Omega Level Mutant]] with a crazy new type of mutation that manifests outside of her because it's power is too great to be kept inside her body... And she will be called the Fairy Queen.

* In the ''Anime/YuYuHakusho'' universe, the Spirit World decided to create a barrier between the Human and Demon worlds, keeping the strongest demons out. The shinigami worked strictly as guides of the dead, leaving humans to fight their own battles against the remaining demons. Spiritual power became more prevalent in the population due to natural selection, and a {{Masquerade}} was adopted by the demons, who became the stuff of myth for the humans.
