''Doki Doki Fallen Angel'' is a game mod for ''VisualNovel/DokiDokiLiteratureClub'', created by Noa-AT. Told in four acts, the story revolves around MC's developing relationship with Yuri, and he discovers exactly what she has been hiding from the world.

* AdultsAreUseless: The one helpful adult in the story is the therapist, and even he isn't portrayed as all that helpful (although to be fair, Yuri doesn't exactly work with him).
* AfterlifeAntechamber: MC and Yuri inexplicably meet up at their spot in the park after Yuri's death, where she absolves him of his guilt and tells him that he helped her more than he knew.
* AngerBornOfWorry: MC gets into an argument with Yuri about her seemingly spur-of-the-moment decision to drop out of school and her refusal to tell him why (which we later find out is because Monika has been trashing her reputation at school).
* BigBad: Monika.

* BungledSuicide: Sayori is left comatose after a failed suicide attempt.
* ButThouMust: The choices you're presented with will only slightly affect the dialogue; the plot remains unaffected.

* CrypticConversation: MC gets a bunch of text messages from a mysterious person (later revealed to be Monika) who indicates that something is going to go terribly wrong with Yuri.
* DerailingLoveInterests: Monika attempts to play up Yuri's negative sides to MC in the hopes that he dismisses Yuri. When this doesn't work, she goes for more drastic measures.
* DrivenToSuicide: Sayori attempts to hang herself in Act 2, which she survives.
** Yuri attempts to kill herself in Act 3, which she doesn't survive.
** In Act 4, MC comes close to cutting himself to be with Yuri, but ultimately doesn't go through with it.
* DysfunctionJunction: All of the cast are pretty messed up, each in their own way (although MC really only becomes so following Yuri's death).
* FailureIsTheOnlyOption: There's no way to prevent Yuri's suicide.
* FiveStagesOfGrief: Act 4 is divided into five sub-chapters, one for each stage, as MC comes to terms with Yuri's death.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: The book MC and Yuri read together has a scene where the protagonist's reflection becomes twisted and taunts her. The same happens to MC in Act 4.

* HopeSpot: MC and Yuri begin to address Yuri's main issues in the original game, specifically by Yuri going to therapy and by preparing to get rid of her knife collection.
* IShouldHaveBeenBetter: MC's guilt over both Sayori's suicide attempt and Yuri's suicide stems from this; he spends a lot of time admonishing himself for what he could have done better.

* TheLostLenore: Yuri becomes this to MC in Act 4 and the epilogue.
* MentalHealthRecoveryArc: The story is set up to be one, but ultimately nothing comes of it.
* TheMourningAfter: Basically all of Act 4 is this, as MC comes to terms with what happened.
* ParentsAsPeople: All of the dokis' (and MC's) parents are displayed as normal people with their own foibles, instead of being placed on pedestals.
* PoorCommunicationKills: MC and Yuri have a fight about Yuri wanting to drop out of school (due to Monika badmouthing Yuri to the entire student body). This is the last time they interact before Yuri's suicide.
* ReunionVow: After her death, Yuri promises that she and MC will meet again.
* SanctuaryOfSolitude: MC more or less isolates himself after Sayori's suicide attempt and after Yuri's suicide, both out of his perceived guilt of having caused them.

* TalkingToTheDead: The epilogue is this, with MC telling Yuri about his and the other dokis' lives and reading a book to Yuri that they had promised to read together.

* ThereAreNoTherapists: [[AvertedTrope Averted]]; MC takes Yuri to a therapist to deal with her self-harming issues, but ultimately it doesn't work. He begins seeing the same therapist after Yuri's suicide.
* TragicKeepsake: A baby sakura tree that MC and Yuri plant together.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: As a result of Sayori's suicide attempt, and her waking up from it, MC is distracted twice from important events (getting rid of Yuri's knife collection and going to apologize to Yuri, respectively), which ultimately paves the way to Yuri's suicide.
* WeUsedToBeFriends: In Act 1, Sayori becomes heartbroken at MC's budding relationship with Yuri and pushes him away. They make up when she wakes up from her coma.
* WhamShot: The player is treated to a full custom CG of Yuri's suicide.
