** Khary Payton will be reprising his role of Cyborg from TeenTitans. Interesting since that series is being UnCancelled
** George "[[FinalFantasyVIIAdventChildren Sephiroth]]" Newbern returns as Superman from the Justice League
** Susan Eisenberg is back on board as Wonder Woman. Her first role as Wonder Woman started with the Justice League.
** Remember Charlie Schlatter's role of the Flash on SupermanTheAnimatedSeries? Well he's back as the Flash again. His previous reprisal was on Lego Batman 2: DC Superheroes
** Josh Keaton is also on board, reprising his role of Hal Jordan/Green Lantern from the Green Lantern Animated Series. Many Marvel fans know him as the voice of Spider-Man. He's also Jack Darby on Transformers Prime. He's also the current voice of Spyro the Dragon
** Fred Tatascoire is also back on as Solomon Grundy from Batman Arkham City. Many Transformers fans know him as the voice of Megatron from Transformers: War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron
** Yuri Lowenthal will provide the voice of Nightwing.

* BloodierAndGorier: Ironically, while the game is slated for a T-rating and eschews any connections to the ''Mortal Kombat'' franchise, it goes for a considerably more graphical depiction of violence than the cartoony ''[[VideoGame/MortalKombatVsDCUniverse Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe]]''. While the action is adequate to its Superhero universe, battles are accompanied by significant amounts of blood and most combat techniques are very visceral in nature, especially when blades are involved.

* AlternateCompanyEquivalent: It's ''[[VideoGame/MortalKombatVsDCUniverse Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe]]'' without the ''Mortal Kombat''. Surprisingly, the game mechanics actually take after other fighters more than ''MK'', like a character "gimmick" button à la ''VideoGame/BlazBlue'', and using directional blocking like most other 2D fighters instead of a guard button. The animation and sound effects still have a strong Mortal Kombat feel to them, though.
