Sanity Converter massively increases power damage but puts a rather harsh limit on how often you can use them (each use, unless it's free because of Owlhawk's helmet or whatever, consumes ''max'' energy), Violence Enhancer gives you a powerful damage buff at the cost of taking double damage, Defiant Decree makes bosses tougher in exchange for more loot, Consuming Fury gives you a GlassCannon effect at the start of every level and so on. If you can work around the drawbacks, though, you can tear through your enemies.
