These examples could really use some clean-up, but for now, I'm just gonna nix Conservation Of Ninjutsu (since that's not really how the Gaia Cancers work) and Darker And Edgier (because I don't think that really applies to standalone works that aren't adaptations or sequels). I also don't know if Eldritch Abomination applies to the Gaia Cancers either, since they're more like big, ugly monsters than mind-breaking aberrations, but maybe I'm being too restrictive in my reading of the trope.
