*** In both games, [[AllMenArePerverts Mega Man pumps his fist triumphantly after leaving the room, and you get the short music of a goal accomplished]] [[FridgeLogic which calls into question]] [[SarcasmMode how accidental it was]]. Note that the fist bump was removed in the English version of ''Legends 1'', but maintained in the N64 port.
** Also, in ''Legends 2'', Tron Bonne is left [[ClothingDamage naked when her clothes burn off]] when the robot she was piloting explodes after a fight with Mega Man. The camera is on Mega Man as Tron questions why he is just staring blankly at her until one of her [[MechaMooks Servbots]] points out to her that she is [[NakedPeopleAreFunny Naked]].

* NoPronunciationGuide: In Japan, "Bonne" is pronounced "bone" (and is spelled the same way). The english releases pronounce it "Bonne", as in "bonnet", but then the later english releases (such as ''MarvelVsCapcom3'') revert back to "bone".

* BlindIdiotTranslation: Every instance of the name "Rock" [[spoiler: and later Rockman]] was replaced with Mega Man. So a 14 year old kid's first name is Mega Man. Okay. It gets worse when [[TheReveal the reveal]] comes along, and it turns out his name is coincidentally still Mega Man. (''Legends 2'' attempts to rectify this by saying Roll named him after her [[VideoGame/MegaMan favorite video game character.]]) It gets even more awkward when your main weapon is called the "VideoGame/MegaMan Buster".

*** In the first game you can kick a can in one of the first areas behind a shop's counter in order to get money for "recycling", and doing this for a while will turn Megaman darker, but without any negative effects. A similar can kicking into a garbage for money is in Legends 2, but it doesn't have the same effect.

* PayingForTheActionScene: After Megaman stops a pirate attack on the city in Mega Man Legends, he can contribute to the city rebuilding fund to help repair the damage the pirates caused during the attack.

* TitleDrop: The Japanese version's TomatoInTheMirror at the end of the first game is the first time the term "[[VideoGame/MegaMan Rockman]]" is used.

* WorthyOpponent: While initially having nothing but spite for him due to ruining their plans, Tiesel Bonne acknowledges Megaman as this by the end of the first game.

* PunishmentBox: In ''The Missadventures of Trone Bonn'' some servbots sometimes disobey you; when it happens Tron sends them to the punishment chamber (a minigame that is essentially about applying {{Video Game Cruelty Potential}} to the servbot.

* TurnedAgainstTheirMasters: The hybrid human/reploid people knew damn well how risky making the Carbons was, so they set up all sorts of failsafes designed to wipe out the Carbons if they went rogue, or if their numbers reached a certain point. Then the human part of the human/reploid peoples died out, taking the reploids with them due to symbiosis or something, and the Carbons built a civilization of their own. The failsafes interpret this as a rebellion. Oops.

* CrossDressingVoices: The first game had Mega Man voiced by male VA Corey Sevier, but the second game the voice was given to Susan Roman, who voiced [[spoiler:Mayor Amelia]] in the first game.
** In many reviews of the second game, this voice change was a constantly-brought-up complaint - not because the voice acting was bad, but because at the time no one knows ''why'' it was changed. The original VA was only 14 when the first game came out. Apparently his voice changed too much between the first and second games for him to be viable and/or they wanted a VA who would be able to do his voice consistently.
*** In the wake of Legends 3's cancelation, the fanbase has taken up several translation projects on their own, including a full translation with voice acting of Rockman DASH: Big 5 Island Adventure. Rock's voice is done by Head Admin of the Legends Station forums, Dashe, a young woman who sounds so much like Corey Sevier from the original Legends that it's scary. Unlike the other games in the series, ''Legends'' is more of an adventure game with loads of exploration and character interaction, as opposed to the hardcore side-scrolling shooters the other games are, and many parallels can be drawn between its gameplay and the gameplay of the 3D installments of Nintendo's ''[[Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda Zelda]]'' franchise. In aesthetic and themes, it's very obviously influenced by Creator/HayaoMiyazaki films, specifically ''CastleInTheSky''. In fact, the Reavers, the ancient robots found in the ruins of the game, are quite obvious [[ShoutOut shout outs]] to the robots in ''CastleInTheSky''. Likewise, the archetypes of an adventurous boy, a strong female and lost civilizations are very much present as well.

** The biggest so far would have to be the Colossus Reaverbot that serves as the endgame boss of ''The Misadventures of Tron Bonne''. It's so big that the battle against it takes place ''on the Reaverbot itself''. Heck, it's so big that its HitPoint bar goes off-screen.

* [[MrFixit Ms Fix It]]: Things don't stay broken around Roll Caskett. Not just the vehicles, equipment, and weapons Roll fixes that help Mega Man while Digging or fighting pirates. Mega Man asserts fixing things; anything broken she can set her hands on at all is pretty much her hobby.

* TheNotLoveInterest: Of course not, since they are-[[YourPrincessIsInAnotherCastle wait]], [[ClingyJealousGirl why should you be angry with Tron's advance, Roll]]?
** In 2, if the player bought all the gifts for Roll, didn't let her take damage in the [[spoiler:Yosyonke snowfields]], and viewed the [[AccidentalPervert bathroom scene]], her final diary entry (only viewable if the player travels back from [[spoiler: Elysium]])[[spoiler: outright states that she loves him. Just not how.]] Although this is heavily hinted in the main story, it's never actually stated except in that optional diary entry.

* RidiculouslyHumanRobots: Taken to a new extreme: [[spoiler:Ridiculously Human Robot Humans. Or something. The original Japanese is arguably a bit clearer on this, but every "human" character is actually a Carbon - a [[MechanicalEvolution descendant of artificially created humans]] meant to populate Terra as long as the Master was around.
