* AmbiguousEnding: "Lost Cause" ends with Hypno's head lunging at Girlfriend, only for the game to take the player to a screen telling them they've unlocked the Shop, Gallery and Freeplay menus. It's never revealed if Girlfriend and Boyfriend managed to escape Hypno, or if Hypno successfully hypnotised Girlfriend for good.

* AmbiguouslyEvil: Missingno. has a lack of context to its encounter with Boyfriend, so we don’t really know what it wants. That said, the entire fight is Boyfriend's fault; he instigated the encounter. [[spoiler:He even manages to catch the glitch, bringing it to fight Buried Alive's Gengar.

* UncertainDoom: We don't exactly know WHAT happens to Grey once the Shitno song is finished, since the cutscene after it appears to be unfinished, with only the audio playing out. One thing is for sure, it was unpleasant.

* In-universe example, thanks to the negligence of the bootleg's devs, Shinto's difficulty modifier is so high she's impossible to catch. One can only catch her with hacks, but that's a pretty poor choice considering how mad she gets when caught.

* AmbiguouslyEvil: Missingno. has a lack of context to its encounter with Boyfriend, so we don’t really know what it wants.

* AnimalisticAbomination: Hypno is already pretty odd-looking with several animal and human qualities, but this mod takes it a step further with his form in "Left Unchecked", where his head detaches from his body and gains a large GhostlyGape. "Lost Cause" kicks it into overdrive, turning Hypno into a massive pile of guts.

* GiantSpaceFleaOutOfNowhere: There is no foreshadowing that [[Fanfic/PokemonLostSilver Gold]] shows up in the main week, and the only context he gets is a mysterious figure apparently handing the player a "free video game". Missingno also comes out of nowhere in its secret song, not even being from a {{Creepypasta}} like the other two opponents.

* HeadsIWinTailsYouLose: At the end of "Left Unchecked", Hypno spams Psyshock to inevitably capture Girlfriend.

* KnightOfCerebus: Within the mod itself, [[GameBreakingBug Missingno.]] is an {{inverted}} example, compared to [[AnimalisticAbomination Hypno]] and [[UndeadChild Gold]] at least, it doesn't really bring anything remotely scary to the table in its song, doesn't really utilize {{jumpscare}}s [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking and its secret song is regularly catchy rather than unsettlingly catchy]]. A bit of a {{justified}} case since it's the odd one out in the mod considering it didn't really come from a ''Pokémon'' {{creepypasta}}, rather from a glitch in ''Videogame/PokemonRedAndBlue''.

* UnintentionallyUnwinnable: The cancelled build of V2 has a feature where pressing 1 allows you to skip the song you're playing if you just want to make progress without needing to replay songs. Unfortunately for those that want to beat "Monochrome", one of the possible Unown messages is 'BOO!', which requires pressing Shift + 1 to type the exclamation point. Therefore, getting this message means [[MortonsFork you either die by not typing out the message or skip the song without being able to finish it.]]

* EasyModeMockery: Pussy mode, which removes the songs' [[ThatOneAttack infamous gimmicks]] and InterfaceScrew.

* BlandNameProduct: "Death Toll" has Boyfriend playing Pokemon on a "Bimbembo DS". The story mode weeks are also represented by "Bimbembo DS" cartridges.

* TheCameo: The White Hand, another famous Pokémon {{Creepypasta}}, is faintly behind Girlfriend in the main week.
