''Bullet Audyssey'' is an UsefulNotes/AdobeFlash game by Creator/CellarDoorGames released in 2011. The plot involves the Euphony Gods who stole the worlds, but with the last remaining resources, the audyssey fleet was built to take them back. This is a ShootEmUp where you dodge the bosses' bullets and lasers, but also try to keep them within the range of an absorb aura, which lets you charge your weapon and fire back at them. The game also has RhythmGame elements, as the bosses' attacks are synced to the BPM.

More fitting trope.

* CreativeClosingCredits: You have to dodge the credits, which can be problematic due to them leaving little space to squeeze by.

* MiniGameCredits: In level 20 called "Crux", you have to dodge the credits, which can be problematic due to them leaving little space to squeeze by.

* WakeUpCallBoss: Vela's not the only 1 1/2 stars boss, but it still becomes this kind of boss on multiple levels. It shoots from below, so that forces you to split your viewpoint on both making sure attacks hit the boss and you can dodge the bullets, which is something other bosses also utilise. Additionally, these bullets move either irregularly or fast, turning "USE SLOW" from Cephelus from a helpful suggestion if you're relatively coolheaded to an order.

Added an example from the new trope page.

Added DiffLines:

* CloseContactDangerBenefit: The game has you touch bullets with the ship's Absorb Aura that surrounds it to fill the attack meter before you lash out at the enemies.

* BulletHell: Late-game bosses tend to spew out a lot of bullets, with some lasers thrown in for good measure.

!!This game provides examples of:
* AttackItsWeakPoint: Every boss has a pink weak point or several which has to be hit to damage it.
* BossGame: The game centers around defeating bosses related to music tracks. There are no enemies to shoot inbetween.
* BossWarningSiren: The final battle with Cancer has "WARNING: FINAL BOSS APPROACHING" show up while a siren plays before its appearance.
* CreativeClosingCredits: You have to dodge the credits, which can be problematic due to them leaving little space to squeeze by.
* FinalExamBoss: Cancer turns into all the previous bosses faced, who have random songs and not the ones associated with them, but the bullet patterns stay consistent.
* GoldenSuperMode: In the final battle, the space ship turns gold and has several enhancements, like a bigger absorb radius and more HP.
* PlayerNudge: The game always gives you some line before a level that's a hint on how to win it, like "USE SLOW", "WATCH YOUR SIDES" etc.
* RPGElements: You can level up to increase bullet damage and lives. Beating every boss unlocks an upgrade.
* StellarName: All of the bosses are named after constellations, like Orion, Gemini, Cephelus, etc.
* TechnicolorDeath: Every boss dies by turning into a bunch of white lines and exploding.
* TimeLimitBoss: Every boss has to be defeated before the song ends, with the time passed indicated on a line underneath their healthbar.
* WarmUpBoss: Orion's the first boss and is rated 1/2 stars. As expected, it's pathetically easy, as its attacks are predictable and three full charges should be enough to take it down.
