* ''WesternAnimation/MrPickles'' is drawn in a [[NightmareFuel horrifying]], grotesque style that makes the characters look [[http://0.tqn.com/y/animatedtv/1/W/7/d/1/pickles_04.jpg absolutely]] [[http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4fm5BksWohM/VDKm6jNnjaI/AAAAAAAAAhA/kMhCXhhb5Ww/s1600/Mr.Pickles.S01E03.jpg hideous]]. It really looks like the animators were going for a mixture of Uncanny Valley and {{Squick}}.

* The infamous ''WesternAnimation/TheRapsittieStreetKidsBelieveInSanta'' special takes it UpToEleven with its [[NoBudget severe budget problems]] during the production, easily making it among '''''the''''' absolute [[NightmareFuel creepiest]] examples in animation history. The result has all the characters resembling mangled-up sex dolls who move in very robotic and unnerving ways. The backgrounds are no better as they appear to be some freakishly unnatural hybrid between hand-drawn and CG renderings, and the show in general resembles more like the in-game graphics of some mid-90s PC-game than a special '''released on''' '''''television'''''. [[EpicFail On top of it all, the makers behind this had no experience in animation whatsoever]].

* ''WesternAnimation/MegaBabies'' is this in spades. Every human, specifically the main trio, ''very'' hardly look as such.

* ''Film/{{Descendants}}: Wicked World'' is an animated series that showed some of the worst of computer animation '''ever''' shown on screen. The character designs tried way ''too'' hard to capture the classic Disney style onto the cast of the 2015 TV film it is based on, and it does not look right whatsoever, and what is even worse is that the result ended up being too horrific for children to look at.

* ''WesternAnimation/AngelaAnaconda'' has this in more than spades, but NothingIsScarier than Angela's baby sister, Lulu. She just stares into your soul...

* Also parodied in an episode of ''WesternAnimation/{{Chowder}}'' with a pink, badly CGI'd dancing pig-baby (probably a parody of the infamous CGI Dancing Baby), whose mere existence instills great horror (and grief) on those who watch it.

** Rarity's overdone makeup job in ''Sonic Rainboom,'' which makes her look like she's trying out for ''Series/RuPaulsDragRace.'' Hilariously the animators got doing heavy makeup jobs down pat in time for ''Brotherhooves Social'', where ''Big Macintosh'' is pretty easy on the eyes all painted up.

* ''WesternAnimation/SidTheScienceKid'' is somewhat creepy. The reason is Henson Studios using a technique that combines CGI Motion-Capture with actual puppetry. The actors are "filmed" in real time as the CGI characters, with as little post-production as possible being used.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Rugrats}}'': The original pilot. The animation is much more detailed and makes the characters look ugly or downright monstrous, especially the necks. It's also present in the first opening, used for ''six years'' and long after the animation and art style had become more pleasing to the eye.

** [[https://www.derpibooru.org/834947 Rarity's makeup job]] in ''Sonic Rainboom''. Hilariously the animators got doing heavy makeup jobs down pat in time for ''Brotherhooves Social'', where ''Big Macintosh'' [[https://www.derpibooru.org/992238 is pretty easy on the eyes]] all painted up.

** Even worse were the crossovers with ''WesternAnimation/TheFairlyOddParents''. When the ''[[WesternAnimation/TheAdventuresOfJimmyNeutronBoyGenius Jimmy Neutron]]'' characters went into the ''Fairly Odd Parents'' cartoon and [[http://67.media.tumblr.com/9d9a2ccf129424132c023655a70bf984/tumblr_mu28wfpZjl1rl8y2zo1_400.jpg were animated in its 2D style]], it was relatively okay, even if their character designs were strikingly different. But when [[http://66.media.tumblr.com/7f245a6e6c9d54aa98cb639dc0d12148/tumblr_mu28wfpZjl1rl8y2zo2_400.jpg Fairly OddParents]] [[http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/jimmyneutron/images/f/ff/Vlcsnap-2012-12-09-17h41m39s170.png/revision/latest?cb=20130101052757 were rendered in]] [[http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/jimmyneutron/images/8/81/Vlcsnap-2012-12-09-17h40m18s141.png/revision/latest?cb=20130101052846 Jimmy Neutron's 3D style...]] the results were terrible looking.

* The infamous [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZiPzGzupU8 ending bumper]] to Creator/AdultSwim featured a pair of bleary eyes being greeted by the grinning sun from behind a hill, and the text "THE DAWN IS YOUR ENEMY". The creepy [[DroneOfDread drone music]] didn't help matters either.

* Even worse than CGI Thomas was the short-lived pre-schoolers' show: ''WesternAnimation/JayJayTheJetPlane.'' Imagine ''Thomas the Tank Engine'', except the trains are planes instead and they have more human-like skin tones and facial features instead of ''Thomas''' completely white faces and cartoony features.

** The series costs a lot (over $11 mil. USD) and it shows. The characters are very expressive but the character designs combined with this expressiveness can make them look uncanny. Certain characters also have a plasticy look to them. The original {{animesque}} 2D trailer was far less in the valley.

* ''WesternAnimation/TomAndJerryWillyWonkaAndTheChocolateFactory'' has been unfavorably compared to the infamous [[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaCDIGames Legend Of Zelda CD-i games]] with regards to its animation and character designs that just look [[http://grawly.tumblr.com/post/162799624613/pearlescentsheep-i-watched-that-tom-and-jerry straight-up]] [[http://bumpsgonnagooseya.tumblr.com/post/159814707585/i-wanted-to-continue-the-posts-of-the-beautiful weird]]. So much so that it quickly became a [[MemeticMutation joke]] among viewers to constantly "[[SarcasmMode praise]]" the film for its "[[BlatantLies quality animation]]".

* In the Italian dub of ''WesternAnimation/DuckTales2017'', every time Magica speaks: she was given a Neapolitan accent to reflect her origins and place of residence in the comics... But Neapolitan has connotations of [[LargeHam being hammy]] [[WorldOfHam even for Italian standards]] and funny, and hearing it coming out of a cold sociopath suggesting to commit murder just isn't right.

* ''WesternAnimation/WordWorld'', a preschool AllCGICartoon that's characters and entire world they live in... are people made out of words. The faces of some of the cast looks pretty robotic, and the FridgeHorror behind it (like, why this is pretty much the equivalent of our world being made out of everything out of human flesh!) is also pretty nightmarish.

** In the episode "The Mask". Kitty before removing the mask qualifies, and the atmosphere and music certainly doesn't help. "Doc Gerbil's World" is equally mindrending.
** King Ramses. ''"Return the slaaaaaaaaab..."''

* Creator/VideoBrinquedo defies the UncannyValley chart quite a bit. Despite the fact that the human similarity to characters is as big as in any cartoon characters, their familiarity index is much lower than it should be.
* Same goes for its American equivalent, Creator/SparkPlugEntertainment.

* ''WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender'':
** The series [[InvokedTrope invokes]] this with the brainwashed Joo Dee(s) during the gang's visit to Ba Sing Se.
** Hama's movements also appear slightly stiff and unnatural, making her seem creepy even before she's revealed as a villain.
** And then there's [[http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/creepy-katara#.Tft4E81qJ7U Creepy Katara]] [[note]]don't worry, it's just Katara staring into the distance after being kissed by Aang[[/note]], who thanks to MemeticMutation has become infamous among ''WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender'' fans.
** [[NightmareFuel/AvatarTheLastAirbender Koh's voice]]. It sounds like a mixture of [[Franchise/{{Saw}} Jigsaw]] and Music/TomWaits. Doesn't help that it uses human looking faces.
* ''WesternAnimation/VeggieTales'' was notorious for its' animation in the first few episodes, but special mention must go to [[https://i.ytimg.com/vi/EII3e_xbYjE/hqdefault.jpg this clown head from ''Love Songs with Mr. Lunt'']].

* ''[[http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/baby-jake/ Baby Jake]]'', part of Creator/TheBBC's latest line of WhatDoYouMeanItWasntMadeOnDrugs programming that is actually meant for toddlers. Words just cannot describe it, and the only thing deeper into the valley than the show itself are the ''toys'' (see Toys section).

** Season 2 is riddled with shots which slip into the valley, usually head-on shots of the characters' faces. One suggestion as to the cause of this is the animators for Season 2 making the mouths substantially wider than was done in Season 1. * ''[[WesternAnimation/ThomasTheTankEngine Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends]]'' is this to some fans after the show's format was converted from using model trains to CGI with the characters actually moving their mouths while they talk.

* ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'' suffered from the uncanny valley for the first few seasons until it got popular enough to have a bigger budget. Most of the characters moved quite stiffly and facial expressions were also just as stiff. Peter also suffered from glitches in the animations, such as his eyes suddenly growing bigger or how his tongue stuck out in odd places when he talked. As the series progressed, the characters' movements improved and their facial expressions are a lot smoother. This eventually gets lampshaded by Brian and Stewie when they go back in time to the pilot episode and they witness the oddities themselves.

* ''WesternAnimation/BobsBurgers'': The characters look a cross between Franchise/TheMuppets and VideoGame/{{Worms}}.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheFlaminThongs''[[note]]Thong means Flip-Flop in Australian English[[/note]] features an animation style similar to Angela Anaconda, but is made ''even worse'' by the characters having realistic skin tones.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheFlaminThongs'' features an animation style similar to Angela Anaconda, but is made ''even worse'' by the characters having realistic skin tones.

And this was coming off of the success of the fantastic human animation in ''WesternAnimation/SnowWhiteAndTheSevenDwarfs'', too.

** In the episode were [[TheDollEpisode Gabbo was introduced]], Krusty tries to compete with his own ventriloquism number, using a puppet that looks rather creepy. ''And then the puppet loses its lower jaw.'' From this point on, things go downhill rather quickly.

* ''WesternAnimation/GlennMartinDDS'': All of the characters look like an unholy hybrid between [[Film/TheGoonies Sloth]] and [[Disney/TheHunchbackOfNotreDame Quasimodo]].

* The appearance of the ''Disney/BeautyAndTheBeast'' characters in the CGI interstitial segments shown on [[Creator/DisneyChannel Disney Junior]].
