Webcomic/UnholyBlood is A new korean webcomic written and drawn by Lina Kim and Keonghyeon Kim. Official English translations were recently made available on the Webtoons app.

It's South Korea in the near future, and violent crimes committed by vampires are at an all time high. Hayan would rather live a peaceful life and continue going to college, but if a vampire attacks someone in her community, she can't help but intervene. She's one of the few people who can fight to to toe with a vampire, as she is a pure blood vampire.

After tragedy strikes, she joins forces with a rising star on the police's anti-vampire taskforce in order to rein in the vampire threat and bring peace back to her home town.

Anyway decades ago, the first vampire "God" came to korea and created 6 "Lions" (vampire generals) and had them go against each other having become bored with life so seeking excitment. They were eventually driven off by a hero blessed by the korean gods who drove them off but now theyve returned proliferating their numbers and attemtping to seize control. Now I am not going to be talking about God since he hasn't appeared much yet or any of his lions since the ones we see are too standard villains.

'''Who is Byeongsu ?'''

A lazy, asshole of a university student, Byeongsu was a bully who would pick on and beating his other classmates to extort money from them and blatantly being a dick such as harassing the teachers and lecturers. Anyway after his mother kicks him out as he's been in university for nine years and done nothing. He discovers the vampire one night well patrying and accepts their offer to transform him. Starting by Giddly killing two innocent divers by ripping out their throats, to the point it kinda freaks out his vampire mentors.


Byeongsu becomes pissed when he comes to his old university and discovers that his good friend is now a university professor with a good job, a car and wife with a baby on the way. The idea forms in his head that he should be entitled to that and that's it's everyone else's fault for what happened to him. He becomes pissed enough that he attacks him and rips him piece by piece killing him in an over top way. Well drinking in the man's pain and peeing on him to maximise his suffering. Humiliating him.

Anyway it's in the next episode, where he hits true depravity. He decides when he hears that the university is having a meeting to discuss fears of him, he decided he's going to massacre them all. Anyway Hwang switched the rooms before he could start and goes to fight him. Intending to bring him to justice, he though refuses fully intending to ki'll everyone and engages with her. She beats him and wants him to apologise to the man's family and trey and make amends by turning himself in. He just laughs and says he was such "good friend. Who else would have let me use them as a toilet" and then attacks her. This enrages her enough that she has enough and beats him to near death before staking him and causing his ashes to blow away in the wind.

Nah he's a just whiny self-absorbed asshole who bitches about how nothing good has happened to him when he really is a good for nothing bully. Hwang calls him out as prick whose blown away all of his chances in life.


Vampires have agency too so not an issue.

Okay so the tricky part. Now most villains even the lions we see are generic kill the heroes types

Anyway in his first apperance ''Industrial Magic'', benecio sends Lucas and his girlfriend Paige to investigate the mysterious deaths of various teenagers associated with the cabals. This is being done by the venegeful Edward Hagen, a vampire whose wife was killed by the cabals for being a sadistic serial killer. Anyway the heroes disover that Edward intends to kill Lucas to open a portal to limbo and resurrect his wife. They try to pass it off to Benecio as him being the one in danger instead and that he should get maxmimum security as way to divert their attention away from Lucas. He sees right through it though and declares that they'll be using a masquerade ball as a way to both celebrate his son returning to the family business and as a way to protect him as all eyes will be on him. During the ball, benecio uses a doppleganger and swicthes with him. Going off against Edward and defeats him. Having his soul cast into eternatl punishment for ''daring to try and touch his son'' where he will never reuinite with his deceased wife as a result.

Anyway he helps Hope Adams and Karl Marsten with an issue they ran into and asks they give him a favour that he can call in later. ''Personal Demon'', the son of an old enemy of Benecio that Benecio disappered when he has arrived in Miami and is musclining in on his territory. He'd prefer to solve it a pragmatic way so sends Hope undercover to try and recruit him or at least learn his weaknesses to stop him. Anyway it seems it was this dudes CoDragons The Haig brothers who are the true masterminds and after suffering from their paranoid mother became obessed with stopping the cabals. The two are shapeshifters who can take any form they want. They assasinate two of Benecio's sons and frames the third (No big loss. Lucas's brothers are assholes) intending to kidnap Paige evetually and keep her away as they kill and replace lucas and take over the company. Benecio and Lucas figure it out eventually so instead have a death row prisoner use a glamour and pretend to be Paige so they can track where they are. Karl and Lucas kick their asses with prisoner lady getting killed which uh Benecio revealing he wasnt going to let her go whatever happened.

(tbf their plan was good. It only had issues right near the end and their the only ones who really made him work for it which is why I'll eventually do the Haig brothers here too).

'''Who is Ileana ?'''

A psyhcotic worshipper of Dracula, the vampiress Ileana is the mastermind behind his revival. Seducing men to her cause she has them vamprised and bent to her will and the worship of the dark lord even corrupting viewpoint character Maurice into one of her pets. Before tossing them away like their nothing.

Anyway Illeana bombs a meeying between London's three gangs, killing or mortally wounding dozens and starting a MobWar to throw the city into chaos. She also seduces a police inspector into stopping any investigations and intentioanlly creating more suspicions and mistrust among the populace well laughing about it afterwards. Next she has Temperance Hall bombed as well as the funeral of Van Helsing taking multitiudes more. Her Mo for these being to seduce one of her followers into going their and acting as a suicide bomber, sarcfing their life for her...not that she gives a shit.

Kindapping Mina, Illeana uses one of her patsies: the head of london;s ruling council as Dracula's new host. Dracula creates a PoliceState using the chaos in order to instill "order" turning London into chaos. Illeana and Drcaula gleefully hunting the "criminials" to feed on and mutiliate.

During the chaos, Dracula has her kidnap Quincy and prepare him for the rite and Drac corrupting him. Quincy talks to Maurice and convinces him to help him as he has both regrets and realised Ileana has used him by just leaving and bringing him to drac. Meanwhile Seward engages with Ileana and shoves a holy water bottle down her throat, destroying her.

Following the successful conclusion of the investigation into the affair of the Hound of the Baskervilles, Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson little realise that fate will see them back in Devon before the year is out. Holmes receives a potentially lethal package, the first strand in the tangled skein which he will need to unravel before this new adventure is resolved. A threat to Holmes's life, murders on Hampstead Heath and a strange phantom lady lead Holmes and Watson into the most dangerous investigation they have ever undertaken...


'''Who is Count Vlad Tepesh Dracula'''

Once a brutal romanian conqueror, Dracula eventually gained the power to become one of the undead and rose to prominence. After centuries off feeding off and warping the minds of the village woman who live by him, Dracula comes to London where he finds the doctor of a girls academy and brainwahses him into his servant. Drac's bite has the ability to instil his evil into his victims which both drives them insane in an agonising manner and turnes into evil monsters. Dracula then has him bring him young woman from the academy whose minds he warps by instilling his evil into them, turning them into savage beasts with in one case one of these women ends up getting out and attacking various children. He then keeps them as his personal brides.

Anyway Holmes and Watson end up investigating and are contacted by van helsing who reveals what dracula has been doing, so they set out to stop him. Their first attempt to save one of his victims fails when he uses his powers and bites to drive her insane and vampirse her, forcing them to stake her. Anyway Holmes and Watson meet the doctor and disover hes Dracula's servant and defeat him but not before Drac has converted the girl they were attemtping to rescue. Anyway they head off to baskerville manner and face off against Dracula who intends to settle the score. Dracula reveals that this is just step one: he plans to create colonies of insane vampires driven by bloodlust all around the world and rise up and overhwhelm humanity making him ruler of the world. This just being his first colony. Holmes reveals to him, hes not scared off him but that he should be off him. Hes able to unsettle Drac enough that hes able to fire a silver bullet which wounds him. He then decides to run but is trapped by the moors and incinirated by the sun. With his death all of his creations die with him.

Uh no. Not really. Hes a creepy fiend who gets pissed that holmes is stopping him. All the vampires we meet are insane becuase hes corrupted and driven them crazy but he is very much in control and the guy who did that to them in the first place. Sort of follows hammer horror rules of a master vampire ruling over undead servants totally loyal to him.

Their is a moment where hes caught in the bog and is being burnt by the sun where watson feels a tinge of pity becuase hes being burnt alive and thats a pretty bad way to go. But that inst an AlasPoorVillain as Wtason does think that drac is a monster and is glad hes gone just the manner of his death freaked him out a bit.

So all in all nada.

Not the worst dracula ever but I'd say so. He has an entire history of infecting woman with his evil (one of his victims describes it as nightly mental and physical agony which carries on for days before hes done) before turning them into his broken brides. Hes done this for centuries and now plans to do it the world over. His ultimate plan is create colonoies of mind broken and warped slaves all over the world to overwhelm humanity and take over. I think the mix of torture both mental and physical plus his plans to do this to the entire world push him over.

Anyway first off the book ''Haunted'' follows the adventures of Eve Levine, a ghost who acts as an envoy to the fates and BountyHunter for escaped evil souls and demons from limbo and hell, dragging them back to face punishment. Today we discuss the worst of the demons (uh well kinda. Ill explain a bit more later).

So one more before write-ups. This week has had some famous villains pass through here. So heres a three for one.

Anyway once upon a time their was a realm inhabited by the various gods we know today liek zeus and odin known as the underworld. Opposite to this was the world known as the underworld where their brethern dwelled. the night creatures are evil gods and monsters born from the goddess nyx . Nyx eventually saw that her descendants were causing harm to humanity so banded with the other good gods and used a spell to destroy the underworld and otherworld which would cause every god to become reincarnted into a human being ending their influence on humanity as awohle. Some just pass by but others eventually evolve and discover their immortality once more with their powers returning. So here I give you the worst of the night creatures. Lamatshu aka Elizabeth Bathory and jack the ripper herself.


'''Who is Lamatasu /Miss Evelyn Fairchild?'''

One of the most evil of the night creatures who would curse human women by having them miscarry and demand the sacrifice of children to her name, she was one of the reasons the gods decided to sacrifice themselves to put and end to the otherworld. And she did it all for fun wiping out who knows how many in Sumeria. Anyway banished after the spell used by Nyx, she found herself awakened to her true self and was born as none other then Bathory herself. To keep herself young and increase her powers, she killed hundreds of young girls with much pleasure even keeping the knife as a souvenir to remember the thrill of taking each life. Feeding of their blood she became highly powerful but was eventually arrested and tried before escaping and continuing her killing spree across europe.

With a special taste for killing children she made her way to London during 1888 and discovered that people were noticing her deaths so she went with another approach and started to kill prostiuites viewing them as scum and became known as jack the ripper herself. In the end shes killed thousands over her lifetime. Anyway making her way to the states with a special love for killing kids (though anyone would do if she needed to), she eventually discovered another awakened goddess who was running as the kentucky governor. They bonded over their burning hatred of nyx for cursing them as well love for hurting people. They discover that Nyx has been re-incarnated as a nicole and set about a revenge. Lamtasu under her new alias of Evelyn Fairchild has the family that nicole is babysitting murdered and frames her for the deaths. She then haunts and tortures her dreams for fifteen years. The other godess as governor at the end of her second term then pardons nicole so that lamatashu can finish her off plus to make her suffer as an outcast.


Anyway Lamatsu torments Nciole by killing her parents and her friend and uses a detective under her sway to hunt her down. She murdered the mans pregnant wife but has convinced him shes an angel and that it was actually nicole who did it. Anyway after killing Nicole's friend Jane, she captures janes two young kids and puts them in a cage naked where she slices from them to drink blood from them. She plans to use them to lure nicole out of hiding. Nicole though seeks help from Lamtashu's arch-enemy Pazuzzu whose also been reborn. Pazuzzu buries Nicole alive...in order to awaken her powers as Nyx since he wanted her strong enough to help defeat lamtashu for good. The two engage with Lamatshu and with combined help are able to destroy her for good.

Nah not really. Anyway lets go over them one by one.


She genunily does hate being stuck on earth in human body but shes also immortal. Her main complaint is that no one worshipps her anymore and that her powers arent as strong as they used to be but shes still immortal. She was a monster even when a godess who killed people for fun and tormented children and pregnant women.This is just bitching about not being a god anymore. She kills now but becuase she needs too as she is immortal but becuase she likes it and does it to make ''herself stronger''.

She is a night creature or creature born from chaos But Nyx is the progeinitor of all night creatures as the person who sired them and shes a good person so I'd say agency isnt an issue either especially since Pazuzzu isnt that bad. Pazuzzu is bad but hes at least a light shade of blacker to Lamatashu

Her "friendship" with the governor of kentucky is just a pargarph of when they got to torment people and how much it sucks that they cant and how they should totally screw over Nyx/nicole . They bond over the joy of hurting people, nothing else.

''The Fell of Dark'' is a YA vampire book by Caleb Roehrig. The only thing August Pfeiffer hates more than algebra is living in a vampire town. And when a mysterious (and annoyingly hot) vampire boy arrives with a cryptic warning, Auggie suddenly finds himself at the center of it. Anyway bit of backstory. The first vampire here is the angel Azazel. Azazel was banished from earth and can only return every hundred years though chained to a mortal host (anne boylen, Marie Antonite, Anastisa Romanav, Macbeth). Every hundred years he tries to free himself to start the vampire apocylpse and fails. Sadly Azazel well by no means a GDV sadly lacks an oomph since we never see him do anything evil on his own. That said one of his minions...

Born to a family of vampire hunters during the french revolution, Duclos desired to rise above and do more then what was expected of her for the time as a woman so became part of witch coven which allowed her to get an education eventually rising to mistress and high ranking regard of Loius XVI himself, unfornutetly the revolution hit and she was sent to the gallows. Their she met the head of the vampire organisation Silver Dawn, Eramus Kramer who had heard of her powers and desired her use. She disovered azazel and the power he promised her to remake the world into a utopia and became a vampire.

After Kramer was killed by vampire hunters, Duclos took over and quickly revolutionzed his organisation through a mix of respect among coworkers and genuine comradaire. She revealed her ultimate goal: she had seen how humans had wrecked the planet and figured she could create a solution. Azazel had offered his help if she freed him, she will use him to remake the world into her imahe and create a vampire and human utopia. No matter the cost. Anyway she goes for a more tactical and more nuanced approach then Rasputin, ingarting herself into the home of the newest host Auggie as his tutor Daphne Banks she carefully steers him into trusting her well she plans to convince him to merge with azazel fully to allow the ascenion to occur. Though she does gain genuine affection for him in a big sister way.

Anyway Duclos is wicked smart at thinking on her feet. When she disovers the syndicate has sent an agent to seduce auggie to their side, she sabtoages it and when he gets suspocious, she passes herself off as secrelty a vampire hunter sent to protect him. Anyway after rasputin attacks the club Auggie is in, she saves his life though seemingly at the cost of her own with him snapping her neck and then taking chase after auggie with his vampire boyfriend Gunnar. Anyway after a bit she returns and reveals her intentions to create a better world to auggie and tries to sway him to her cause. He goes along with it before Auggie is attacked by members of the vampire hunting brotherhood while shes away, this seems like the end untill a weird gray mouse comes out of nowhere and startles the brotherhood members and Duclos uses this confusion to turn from the mouse into her normal form and massacre them expect the leader. Auggie wants to spare him but duclos kills and feeds off him anyway as she says no mercy for enemies.

Anyway Auggie and crew arrange a showdown between the various factions in order to save his parents has set the various factions against each other well planning to rid himself of azazel. Anyway Duclos though defeats everyone sent against her having disovered this in advance and ends up stopping Rasputin from stopping Auggie from completeing the tirual to banish Azazel as she reveals she disovered that Azazzel had given the same deal to rasputin and realised ultimately that he had just been using her and didnt want her utopia so she turned on him. Anyway she wishes Auggie well and leaves being the only one of the factions who ends the book with their organisation stronger then ever.

'''Who is the nix ?'''

An ancient member of the nix species and a member of the cacodemons (chaos demons), the nixes are supposed to convince or lure humans into evil as part of their duties to hell. This one is special though, 400 years ago, it was summoned to edge on a woman who planned to kill her father, the woman summoned her as a confidence boost. Anyway this nix got bored and convinced the woman to use a spell to allow her to posses her rather then just edge her on like normal. This gave the nix the ability to kill in person and she learns she loved it, murdering the womens family, she disovered she could now posses women who deep down wanted to kill but didnt have the nerve. By possesing them, the two could go on murder sprees for the funzies in one case she took over lizzie borden herself and helped her axe her parents. Her specilaity though is quite depraved, well shes an opportunistic killer who just does anything she wants, her favourite mo is to posses women and form serial killer duoes with their partners where they kidnap young kids and kill them. Eventually she just leaves her women hosts to take the blame and starts again.


Anyway the fates have tried to capture her for good through the centuries but her possesion and the fact she kicked the ass of the people they sent has put a nail in that. One angel Zadkiel (the original trainer for heaven's defence force) was thrown into a pocket dimension and driven insane thanks to her. Another time they sent seemingly reformed serial killer spectre Andrei Duchev....turns out he was playing them and him and nix disovered that killing with a murder buddie is more fun then on your own and went on sprees together before she grew bored off him and left him to be recaptured while she escaped. Eve is special though as shes the daughter of a witch and demonlord Balaam (demonlord of vision) and figure she could find her thanks to her visions and caoture her for good. Anyway Eve and her boyfriend Kristof tracks her to the ghost [[strike:zone]] world which is pretty much a version of our world albeit with the ghosts of everyone in limbo where ghosts do pretty much everything you can do here. Anyway when the nix finds out eve is following her she gets seriosuly pissed...and goes to the candaian high school of eve and kristof's teenage daughter Savannah. Their she makes a deal with a teenager who fantasies about killing her fellow tsudents and becoming infamous and she takes over and two lead a seiege killing a dozen and trying to kill savannah, savannah's best friend sacrfices herself by taking the bullet and eve kills he mortal host and she gets away.

Anyway going into limbo, Eve discovers from duchev that nix is funtionally unbeatbale as a spectre or in her host. Her only weakspot is that when her host dies theirs a brief window before she uses the ghost world to flee where shes vulnerable. Unforntutelty the nix tricks Eve's friend and necromancer medium Jamie Vegas into allowing her to posses her planning to use her to kill off Savannah's adoptive parents Paige and lucas before taking over savannah herself. Anyway Eve takes over paige's body temporarily and begins the most akward family dinner...

* "Act III: Guignol": [[StrawmanNewsMedia Georges Du Roy]] is a psychopathic newspaper mogul and leader of the Red Circle. Learning that he loved violence and evil during the events of Bloody Week, Du Roy helps found and cover for the members of the Red Circle helping them unleash a wave of torture, rape and murder on the city for fun. A diehard antisemite, Du Roy is also behind a smear campaign against the jewish soldier Dreyfus and incites riots against the jewish population of paris leading to innocent jews. Du Roy along with the rest of the red circle also force and kidnaps young women into their grand act where they torture them to death for fun and intned to make Kate Reed their latest victim, all while forcing the master of the theatre Guigonol to watch.

Anyway Im rereading some stuff that was done on cm and have three vampire ladies for you. Each from a different work.
