** Airachnid's web-shooters make the same sound that Franchise/SpiderMan's do in ''WesternAnimation/TheSpectacularSpiderMan''.

** The original plan for Season 3 was for it to center around a Cybertronian pirate invasion. [[Literature/TransformersExiles A novel]] was released to set up the premise and a figure of pirate captain Thundertron was produced. However, during production a new director came in and scrapped the pirate storyline at the last minute, demanding the season be centered around beasts instead. There was no time to properly implement the sudden plot change, which is why the Predacons only play a secondary role in ''Beast Hunters''. This angered both Hasbro and the production team as not only did they have to throw out their original plans, by the time Hasbro made a new line of Predacon toys it was too late to put most of them in the show.

** The whole ''Beast Hunters'' line was imposed at the last minute (see TroubledProduction above), forcing the team to scrap their original plans for season 3 ([[https://web.archive.org/web/20160411162414/http://sunnybutte.tumblr.com/post/131384199723/hey-all-getting-a-lot-of-questions-about-those apparently involving Maximals and Predacons and a "wild-west"-style exploration of the reborn Cybertron]]).

* ActingForTwo: Greg Sepelak voices both Rumble and Frenzy in the ''Unreliable Narratives'' script reading.

* TalkingToHimself: With the Vehicon mooks (and later the Insecticons) all being voiced by Creator/SteveBlum, Creator/JoshKeaton, Creator/KevinMichaelRichardson, Creator/DaranNorris, and Creator/FrankWelker, this is more or less inevitable. Happens in a literal and somewhat humorous sense to [[spoiler:Starscream when he clones himself]].
** In ''Sick Mind'', inside the mind of a comatose Megatron, he has a conversation with Bumblebee, who is at the time also voiced by Frank Welker.

** Creator/ClancyBrown plays the human super villain Silas, who bedevils Optimus Prime. By coincidence or design, this is the second time Clancy has found himself playing a supervillain who is an antagonist to a [[WesternAnimation/SupermanTheAnimatedSeries benevolent super-powered alien primarily clad in the colors red and blue]]. This goes UpToEleven when he goes all BaldOfEvil in "The Human Factor."

* UnintentionalPeriodPiece: It is by far the most modern incarnation of Transformers with social media and cell phones, but the cellphones are flip phones, which were clearly still quite popular in the early 2010's, right before the iPhone boom.

** Creator/MichaelBell, who voiced many characters including Prowl, Sideswipe, and Swoop, auditioned for Ratchet and Fowler.

While both Creator/PeterCullen and Creator/FrankWelker have portrayed Optimus Prime and Megatron in other productions including video games, this is the first time the two of them have been able to work together portraying their iconic characters in a television series since ''WesternAnimation/TheTransformers''. Both have stated how delighted they were to work together again and how fond they were of each other.
