* UnintentionalPeriodPiece: Likely applies to this more than any of the other ''Scooby-Doo'' shows. While modern-day kids will almost certainly know who Batman and Robin, Series/TheAddamsFamily, and the Harlem Globetrotters are, and probably even Film/TheThreeStooges and Creator/LaurelAndHardy, most of the other celebrities and characters will likely just leave them scratching their head as to exactly who they're supposed to be.

* ActingForTwo: Creator/JonathanWinters voices both himself and his farmer friend Maude Frickert. This is because she was a character he created for his comedy act in RealLife.
** Creator/CaseyKasem voiced both Robin and Shaggy in the Batman episodes. Fortunately, his impression of Burt Ward is sufficiently good that it's not ''immediately'' obvious.
*** A bit more obvious when the Scoobies team up with Josie and the Pussycats, given that Kasem's Alexander Cabot voice is incredibly similar to Shaggy's, and that both are cowards.

** The guest appearance by the Addams Family has Creator/JohnAstin, Creator/CarolynJones, Jackie Coogan, and Ted Cassidy reprise their roles as Gomez Addams, Morticia Addams, Uncle Fester, and Lurch.
