That is a misuse. Exiled From Continuity is when a character isn\'t allowed to appear in an adaptation or whatever because of legal reasons. The example given sounds more like an example of Canon Discontinuity, and I don\'t think it really counts since Slapstick has made subsequent appearances in the Marvel universe, even if they are scarce.
