The story follows a young boy named Copy and his older brother Jonathan on a quest to stop a mysterious virus from infecting wildlife and turning it evil. Along the adventure, they form a small group called the Council of Adventurers to stop this virus.
The members of the council include a happy-go-lucky adventurer, a skilled and stoic archer, an idiotic comedian, a hunter with a short fuse, a cool and laidback girl who wants to have some fun, a food-obsessed mage, a hot-blooded brute, and a smart but shy inventor.
