* DummiedOut: Simon the Sorcerer 2 had a feature where as your character moved to the edge of the screen, the view would pan in that direction. The art design of several areas in the first game, and some empty screens, [[https://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=14868 strongly suggests]] that this was attempted for that one, but abandoned during development.

Adding note about panning feature

* ActorAllusion: In the first game, the title character was voiced by [[Series/RedDwarf Chris Barrie]]. One scene involved Simon being yelled at by a dwarf in a red shirt, who told him to "smegging well naff off". The second installment went so far as to have Simon quote several of Rimmer's actual lines from the show, even though Barrie was no longer voicing Simon.
