** Canadian business tycoon Arlene Dickenson is one of the regulars on the Canadian version of ''DragonsDen''. She appears in one episode as a wealthy investor that Crabtree is trying to interest in the lie detector Murdoch has invented. Unfortunately, when the machine doesn't detect any lies (because everyone Murdoch used it on was telling the truth), she declines Crabtree's offer and walks off, saying the "I'm out" CatchPhrase the Dragons use when they show they're not interested.
** [[Series/{{Coronation Street}} Peter Barlow]] plays an aide to Prince Alfred, grandson of Queen Victoria. Coincidentally, Thomas Craig (Brackenreid) is also a Coronation Street veteran.
