* FanNickname:

To elaborate, Marida [[spoiler:was a child solder during the [[Anime/MobileSuitGundamZZ First Neo-Zeon war]] as one of the [[{{CloningBlues}} Ple clones]]. During Glemmy Toto's uprising she was [[YouAreNumberSix Ple Twelve]]]]. Between then and the events of Unicorn (UC 0096), she survived by [[spoiler:living as a prostitute]] until she was approached by [[{{TheRemnant}} the Sleeves]], specifically Zinnerman who adopted her and gave her the name Marida Cruz.
** Some have called the Kshatriya "Palm Tree" due to the shape of its binders, it's color, and the fact that its a lot easier to pronounce then its actual name.
*** It's more of a bell pepper, really, especially when the binders are closed. Of course, there's already been fan art.
** "Spiegel Cosplay" for the Geara Zulu due to its head looking similar to the Gundam Spiegel (ignoring the fact that both are based on WWII German soldier helmets...)
*** "Geara Leo" for the Geara Zulu that blew up when a shot from the Unicorn's beam magnum passed near it, a reference to how the Leos in ''[[Anime/MobileSuitGundamWing Gundam Wing]]'' would explode by the dozen when a Gundam so much as appeared on the screen.
** "Godspeed" for the nameless Stark Jegan pilot from the first Kshatriya fight.
** Full Frontal is sometimes called "Mullet Char" because of his huge hair by Neo Lorrnoke of [[http://gundamnmahq.blogspot.com/ The ''Gundamn!'' podcast]] of MAHQ.
*** another nickname is "Fat Frontal" due to the uniform he's wearing in combination with his hair making it look like he's gained a few pounds, taking the mask off only makes it worse.
** "Kobe Byarlant" - The Byarlant Custom in OVA 4, after it managed to beat down several Neo Zeon suits single-handedly, despite being essentially a Titans design.
** "Banana" for Banagher due to the varying pronunciations of his name.

** Masaharu Sato and Creator/MariaKawamura reprise their respective roles of Dr. Hasan and Beltorchika Irma from ''Anime/MobileSuitZetaGundam''.

* PosthumousCredit: Despite suffering a fatal heart attack, Creator/IchiroNagai is still credited for voicing Syam Vist in episode 7, since he completed his lines months in advance.

* CrossRegionalVoiceActing: The English dub used voice actors from the New York City and Los Angeles areas.

* TheCharacterDiedWithHim: While it was already known that Syam Vist was fated to pass on peacefully [[spoiler:to activate the ''Magallanica'']], it coincidentally became this trope when his voice actor Creator/IchiroNagai passed away mere months before the airing of Episode 7.

** Creator/YohInoue, the original voice of Haro, died of lung cancer in 2003. As a result, the character is now voiced by Creator/RyoHirohashi.

* ActorAllusion: A lot:
** Creator/HiroShimono voices Takuya Irei, an OrdinaryHighSchoolStudent who's also a Mobile Suit {{Otaku}} turned AscendedFanboy. His previous (and arguably one of his more well-known) role was another [[OrdinaryHighSchoolStudent Student]] ''slash'' {{Otaku}} ''slash'' {{Ascended Fanboy}} named [[Manga/TheWorldGodOnlyKnows Keima Katsuragi.]] This makes Takuya's comment in Episode 6 about not being able to understand women [[HilariousInHindsight all the more hilarious.]]
** Meanwhile, Mihiro Oiwaken's voice actress Creator/MegumiToyoguchi once played another ''Gundam'' MissionControl character in [[Anime/MobileSuitGundamSEED Mirallia Haw]].
** In the English Dub, Riddhe's [=VA=] Creator/YuriLowenthal also played [[Anime/TengenToppaGurrenLagann Simon]] and [[Anime/CodeGeass Suzaku Kuururugi]] who, like Riddhe, had at least one MementoMacGuffin that identify them. *** Creator/AyumiFujimura replaces Creator/MikiIto as Mineva Lao Zabi.
