* PlayingGertrude: In the English dub, Creator/XanderMobus, who voices Masayoshi, is 2 years younger than Creator/AmberLeeConnors, who voices his daughter Shoko.

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: Tomohito Oda revealed in an interview that his original concept for the series would've actually seen Komi be a ''male'' with a Communication Disorder, but his editor convinced him that a female character would work better for the story. This could potentially make Wakai Takenori, a new student introduced in the 3rd year as something of a DevelopmentGag.

** The eyecatch in the first episode has a SpriteArt version of Tadano run across the screen, jump and explode in a direct imitation of VideoGame/MegaMan. It even uses the same sound and visual effect.

* FanNickname:
** Najimi is "[[Characters/BakaandTestSummontheBeasts Hideyoshi]]" on account of their AmbiguousGender.
** Tadano has several of them:
