* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: The version available from Website/GOGDotCom intially packaged the DOS version, which lacks the high-resolution character ports and interface of the Windows version. Fortunately, users could access it through [=ScummVM=]. GOG did later issue a version using [=ScummVM=] with the Windows version.

* CrossRegionalVoiceActing: All of the voice actors with the exception of Cassima are based in the United States. Cassima's actress Stevie Vallance does work normally in Canada.

Actor Allusion is not a trivia trope.

* ActorAllusion: One of the puzzles is based on "Literature/BeautyAndTheBeast". The game stars Robby Benson and Tony Jay, who had recently appeared in the Creator/{{Disney}} [[WesternAnimation/BeautyAndTheBeast version of that story]]. (Mind you, the Beast in the game was actually voiced by someone else) though a NonstandardGameOver can cause Alexander to [[LampshadeHanging become a beast himself]].

.5 replaced by ½

* MultiDiscWork: The floppy version is on nine 3.5'' disks. That said, when developing the Amiga version, the game was outsourced to Revolution Software, the developers switched to the Virtual Theatre engine, reduced the color palette from 256 colors to 32, and simplified multiple puzzles and locations to compress it significantly, but the game clocked in at ten disks (as Amiga's don't offer as much space) anyway.
