* IKnewIt: [[spoiler:Many fans guessed that the current Calibur was not Hayato Fukamiya but instead Daichi Kamijo, due to how obsessed Calibur was with Saber, how he resonated ''too well'' with both ''Jaaku Dragon'' and ''Brave Dragon'', and how he (and by extension Desast, whom he released) were in possession of the two other Wonder Ride Books needed to complete Saber's Wonder Combo, being the previous Saber himself. Sure enough, they were right.]]
** Funnily enough, this happens again upon the third Calibur's entrance, with many automatically thinking it was [[spoiler:Kento]] due to Calibur now sharing a suit actor with [[spoiler:Espada.]] No points for guessing who was revealed as the user an episode later....

* ContentLeak: Already common for every Kamen Rider now, but first looks began leaking around late July 2020, initially through a leaked advertisement for the DX [=SworDriver=] on the back of an issue of Japanese manga magazine ''Televi-Kun''. In what was seen as an unexpected move, Televi-Kun [[https://twitter.com/Televi_Kun/status/1288468962989051904 announced on Twitter]] that they were aware of the leaks and scans online and were looking towards criminal prosecution against those responsible, citing that this is considered copyright infringement. This wounded up causing a bit of a stir from fans, questioning the company's decision to seek legal action over leaked information that they themselves published.[[note]] Japan's copyright laws prohibit ''any'' sort of copying of someone else's works and/or distribution of it on the internet without permission, unless for personal (i.e at home) or educational purposes (i.e schools).[[/note]]

* This is one of the first ''Kamen Rider'' series to have a number of mixed-race actors in predominant roles, with Hiroaki Oka (Tetsuo) being Japanese-Chinese, Kairu Takano (Legeiel) and Koji Sakawa (Zooous) being Japanese-American [[note]] Robin Furuya (Storious) is ethnically full Japanese, but was born in Hawaii [[/note]] and Angela Mei (Reika Shindai) being Japanese-Filipino. [[note]] While it's not the first ''Kamen Rider'' series to have mixed-race actors before, this is notably the first time that mixed-race actors have been shown off in this respect. [[/note]] This was funnily lampshaded for the Megid generals in the mini-anime spinoff, where they hold a conversation in ''SurprisinglyGoodEnglish'' that eventually derailed into an arguement.

* NamesTheSame:
** Narrowly avoided in Japanese with ''[[Series/KamenRiderGaim Kamen Rider Saver]]''. In JapaneseRanguage, both would have been written as ''Seibā'', but ''Saver'' was properly spelled as ''Seivā'' in Japanese, allowing the two to be differentiated.
** Kamen Rider Blades is not to be confused with Series/KamenRiderBlade (singular). They're both even blue.
** Series/KamenRiderDecade’s ''Ride Book''er is not to be confused as a Wonder ''Ride Book'' from this series.
** This isn't the first time a flame sword was named ''[[Series/SamuraiSentaiShinkenger Rekka]]''.
** Ren Akamichi has the same given name as [[Series/KamenRiderRyuki Ren Akiyama]], even using the same kanji. The fact that both Kenzan and Knight have a swordsman motif that has [[BlowYouAway wind powers]] AND Eiji Togashi resembles Satoshi Matsuda doesn't help matters.
** Amusingly, Sophia also happens to be the name of the rock band fronted by Mitsuru Matsuoka, best known as [[Series/KamenRiderW Kamen Rider Eternal.]]
** Yuki Shirai/the Yeti Megid shares the exact same name as the VictimOfTheWeek from ''Series/KamenRiderGhost'' who was possessed by the Houdini Damashii, albeit with her given name spelt in ''hiragana'' instead of ''katakana''. Amusingly, both series share the same head writer.
** Ryoga Shindai's name shares the exact same kanji (神代 凌牙) as ''Anime/YuGiOhZexal'''s Reginald Kastle (also known as [[AlternateCharacterReading Ryoga Kamishiro]] in the manga and Japanese version).[[note]]Hilariously enough, both Ryoga and Reginald are [[spoiler:antagonists who are]] associated with marine animals, and have younger sisters.[[/note]] Creator/ToshikiMasuda (Kamishiro's Japanese VA) noticed Ryoga's name was trending out of nowhere and curiously [[https://twitter.com/ToshikiMasuda38/status/1375999894305927173 tweeted]] about this asking why.
** Haruka Kiritani (Ogami's wife) is not to be confused with the ''other'' Haruka Kiritani from ''VideoGame/ProjectSekai''.

** While Tetsuo Daishiji is implied to be at least 30 by the time the show aired, Hiroaki Oka is 22.

* CastAsAMask: Mamono Megids from the second arc onwards are [[BalefulPolymorph unwillingly transformed humans]], each having an actor/voice actor pair portraying their human identities and Mamono forms respectively.

* FanNickname:
** The moment the trademark was revealed, fans were already calling it ''Kamen Rider [[Franchise/FateSeries Fate]].'' It did not help that the main rider's design seems to be similar to [[VideoGame/FateGrandOrder Georgios]].
** Fighting Fairy has been dubbed "Tankerbell" and "Tinkerdumbbell".
** Zooous, given his animal and book themes and [[SpellMyNameWithAnS number of "O"s in his name]], is often referred to as "Magazine/{{Zoobooks}}".
** A lot of fans call Ryo "Rider Dad" because of his status as a good father.
** Given the confusion over [[SpellMyNameWithAnS how to spell Sabela's name]], some fans gave up and started referring to her as "[[MemeticMutation Kamen Rider Girlboss]]".

** Zooous, given his animal and book themes and [[SpellMyNameWithAnS number of "O"s in his name]], is often referred to as [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zoobooks "Zoobooks"]].

** The Four Lord of Wise’s battle forms are retooled from the Agastya Base guards, which are retooled from the [[MonsterOfTheWeek Battle Raiders]] from ''Series/KamenRiderZeroOne.'' Minus Kuon, they have one or both shoulder armor pieces taken from the grunt [[Series/KamenRiderZeroOne Kamen Rider Abaddons]], and reuse weapons from Asmodeus, [[Series/KamenRiderKiva the Polar Bear Fangire]], [[Series/KamenRiderFourze the Akumaizers]] and [[Series/TokumeiSentaiGoBusters Great Demon Lord Azazel]].

** According to director Takayuki Shibasaki, an ''onsen'' was originally proposed to be included but had to be scrapped due to the pandemic. An ''onsen'' sign can be seen above Touma's desk in an allusion to that idea.

* TheOtherDarrin: A downplayed example. Danki Sakae takes over as Desast's suit actor from Kazuya Okada in the second half of the series, due to Okada playing Vroon in ''Series/KikaiSentaiZenkaiger'', which started production midway through ''Saber'''s run.

** Touma Matsuhara portrays both Young (well, young-''er'') Riku and Young Mamiya in ''Trio of Deep Sin''. [[spoiler:They're the same person.]]
