The aging of the Blade helmet's transparent plastic exterior over time had caused it to turn yellow; this combined with the silver underlayer produces a golden-like hue, which the production crew have taken such a liking to they kept [[GoldColoredSuperiority the "golden" look]] as it is instead of amending it, having all subsequent appearances of Kamen Rider Blade since use the aged helmet's color.

* FanNickname: [[spoiler:Fans on both sides of the Pacific refer to Kenzaki's unseen Joker form as the Navy Joker, after the primary color of the Blade suit. The S.I.C saga DID show a Joker form for him, but it was just the same color as Hajime's, although this was later contradicted by the Novel, which described it as being more akin to the Beetle and Caucasus Undeads. ** There were plans to have a torch passing between Blade and Blade's predecessor, Faiz, similar to the one done in ''Franchise/SuperSentai'', which was reportedly filmed, as proved by the few screenshots of it that are floating around the internet, but for whatever reason, the passing was never aired.
