One story goes that after Jason left Dance House Children, Ronnie wanted to rename the band Rainbow Rider, and title their next album ''Beautiful Dazzling Music No. 1''. But his label, Siren Records, nixed that idea, worrying it would alienate their existing fanbase. As an attempted compromise, Siren mashed Ronnie's desired band name into the album title, making it officially ''Rainbow Rider: Beautiful Dazzling Music No. 1'' by Dance House Children. That Ronnie did use Rainbow Rider as the band's name for two releases on a different label (the "We'll Last So Long" 7" single, and a reissue of ''Beautiful Dazzling Music No. 1'', both on Velvet Blue Music) possibly supports this story.
