In the US, arguably. Rather than giving the show a slot in one of their primetime windows, [adult swim] slotted the show into its weekday schedule at 1 AM, surrounded by rerun episodes from the network's best rated series and just before the programming block went on repeat. It was dropped due to low ratings after only 50 episodes, which likely contributed to the general low sales of Funimation's [=DVDs=].

** The two first movies were dubbed in Mexico, and while [[SugarWiki/SuperlativeDubbing the acting was pretty good]], on the other hand the translation itself was awful, since not only suffered of the TooLongDidntDub trope (something that ''rarely happens'' in a Mexican Spanish dub), it was later found out the Mexican dubbers illegally used a [[UsefulNotes/{{Plagiarism}} script from a fansub for the translation]], causing a quite embarrasing incident with both the fans and the Japanese licensors, and losing the right for dubbing any related material regarding the series for several years.
