Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think anyone considers "Eight Days a Week" their Magnum Opus by any stretch, so to me it falls under Creator Backlash.

* CreatorBacklash: "Eight Days a Week" was a hit single in America, yet the band hated it so much they never performed it live (Music/JohnLennon called it "lousy"). Music/PaulMcCartney seems to have softened on the song, playing it live for the first time during his 2013 tour.

** A CoverVersion of Little Willie John's "Leave My Kitten Alone" was recorded during the album sessions but ultimately rejected. Regarded by fans as one of the great "lost" Beatle tracks, it would eventually be released on ''Music/TheBeatlesAnthology 2''.

* ChristmasRushed: The title mockingly hints at the fact that it was rushed, to the point that the band had to fall back on a few covers after the all-original ''Music/AHardDaysNight''. Something which is lampshaded in the liner notes.
