* AdaptationalContextChange: In the original OVA series, [[spoiler: the Thirds are revealed as UterineReplicators after one of the murder victims who had been living underground on Mars was discovered. In the ''Polymatrix'' movie, her storyline was cut -- and so a new scene was animated showing that Kelly [=McCannon=], the first of the Thirds to be murdered, was pregnant. Ross has a flashback to Kelly's manager [[DrowningMySorrows Drowning His Sorrows]], and calling her "the most human woman I know" -- a scene from the OVA now used as foreshadowing for this revelation.]]
