Unfortunately, Krit's alcoholism made him forget all about the game and take a nap on the couch. Later, Wan saw the door under the stairs unlocked, and locked it, trapping her inside. She then apparently died from consuming the rat poison Wan stored there, and Krit [[DrivenToSuicide killed himself]] by taking Phong's gun and shot himself in the head.
** However, after the WhamLine, we learn that, in actuality, [[spoiler:Wan had [=WANTED=] Pinya to poison herself and die, because she hated that her daughter, Mai, gave birth to a girl with half her face swollen. What's more, Krit was actually shot to death by Phong]].
