* After Russo is mortally wounded, Neagley holds his hand despite her HatesBeingTouched attitude. \n You ''really'' see the strain on her face as she realizes that he wants a last moment of comfort since he's relatively sure he's about to die, but she pushes through her trauma and holds him tenderly as he passes away. It's so devastating for both characters and it's why they all literally [[spoiler: ''unload'' all of their guns into the killer who helped facilitate Russo's death and it's why Reacher yeets the BigBad from the helicopter with the utmost prejudice.]]

!!2.6 New York's Finest
* Russo shows some deep EtTuBrute anger and sadness at his boss and HonoraryUncle being a DirtyCop while his boss (maybe truthfully, maybe not) insists he's only doing this to avoid AnOfferYouCantRefuse fate, and a debate about whether the Little Wing missiles could be used in another terrorist attack like 9/11 clearly hits a raw nerve for both men as they talk about the people who died that day.

Corrected name of character from Sanchez to Franz

* Reacher and Negaly meeting Sanchez's wife. It's clear that Sanchez was a family man who loved his wife and son and the poor woman is clearly devastated losing him. However what hit hard is Reachers reaction after Neagley tells Sanchez son how Reacher and him met. With this all Reacher can say is “okay”.
** This was the same word he muttered after he and Roscoe slept together which highlights how despite not being in contact with him for years Sanchez meant a lot to Reacher.

* Reacher finds out that one of the Special Investigators died in a car accident the year before and the others did not bother tracking him down to inform him of it. Neagley assumed that Reacher would not show up for the funeral anyway. Reacher agrees with her conclusion. He has isolated himself so much from everyone that he has abandoned the people who cared about him.

* Finlay reveals that contrary to what Reacher had earlier assumed, his wife Sharon did not leave him. She died and the reason Finlay left Boston and moved to Margrave is because he couldn't stand to remain in a city where everything reminded him of her. * A corrupt Atlanta cop tries to kill Reacher and Neagley, but unlike the other corrupt {{LEO}}s in this show, he was clearly forced into doing this, having been showed Morrison's [[GroinAttack murder]] and his family threatened. What's worse is how regretful he is, as he sobs after shooting his partner, tries to reassure Reacher and Neagley that he'll give them quick deaths, and decides to stay and drown in his car as he says a Hail Mary, out of guilt and to protect his family, after Reacher and Neagley make him crash into a river.
