* Yodonna finally learns about true love and then Miko betrays her, revealing herself to be Hanidora and having wanted to use Yodonna in an attempt to revive Emperor Yodon. After unleashing all her anger over being betrayed and destroying Hanidora, Yodonna is left feeling the pain of a broken heart and questioning what to do with the new life she earned.
** During the moment Yodonna takes to observe all the happy couples around it is highlighted that a brokenhearted Tametomo is being consoled by a very emotional Shiguru. What makes this moment sting harder is that Yodonna ''did'' feel her heart skip a beat when she was saved by Tametomo, but thanks to Miko's machinations she was led to believe that he wasn't the one.

* When it is revealed Mizuki was being drained by Yodonna, it is clear Yodonna is starting to feel conflicted and that Mizuki is very angry and sad at the one she believed was her partner.
** What makes it worse is that it happens a little over an hour since she learned that Enoshima, someone the Kakihara siblings used to trust and look up to as an exemplar cop, was a DirtyCop who worked with an yakuza group that harvested organs, and had now captured and beaten Mizuki's brother.
* As Mizuki's time is almost up, Yodonna yanks the device responsible for the life drain and decides to use what little time she had left to save Mizuki and her brother, as much as Mizuki didn't want to lose her new friend.
** And sure enough, comes the moment when Yodonna has to fade away in Mizuki's arms and doesn't understand why her tears are coming out if she doesn't feel sad. Mizuki teaches her that it is Joy that she is feeling, and while tearful, they part ways in joyful terms.

* Fire in general is incredibly disheartening to listen to this episode. You can tell that even though he's putting up a brave front and trying his hardest to update Juru the best that he can, it's clear that he's extremely broken up over the possibility of Juru actually being dead. It takes Mabushina's orders for him to get a grip and focus on the mission, knowing that Juru would want him to fight for the Earth no matter what.

* Seeing the Kiramagers at their lowest point is utterly depressing. While the Mashins try to comfort them, the Kiramagers are ultimately crestfallen at how easily they lost against Yodonna and her mooks. Even when Shiguru tries to tell them to get off their feet and hurry, Sena refutes that they could easily lose just again, making it clear that she is ''terrified'' of what could happen to them.
* When the others turn to Juru, Juru looks utterly miserable at their loss. It's clear as day that he's absolutely worried for them and doesn't want them to get hurt, whether it's Yodonna or Energia. He understands that there's a mission at hand, but he can't bear to see all of them sacrifice themselves to simply gain more power. Tametomo calls him out, but Juru is not having any of it, saying that he wants to protect ''everyone''.
* Sayo calls Mabushina to tell her to give Juru her best regards if something happens to her. Just the sentiment alone drives the Crystalian to tears.
