** Chugga’s story about what happened to a friend of his while they were climbing on Mt. Coronet. Basically, the friend encountered a Shiny Graveler which used Self-Destruct on the first turn. And his next encounter is another Shiny Graveler which did the same thing. Although this is a very funny moment since it’s “the best-worst luck”, imagine if that is the only time the friend could encounter a Shiny Pokémon in his life, and just like that it’s gone before he could do anything. On top of that, losing the chance to capture a Shiny Pokémon with something like that happening is one of the most devastating moments that could happen to anyone.

* ''VideoGame/PaperMario64'' (remake) Mixed with NightmareFuel, In [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nH2a-vBDnnw&t=600s Episode 50]], Chugga explained that when he was a kid, he thought seeing the dying Flower Fields was one of the saddest [[CerebusSyndrome and most dire events he ever witnessed at the time]], faced with the idea of mortality as all life in Flower Fields that didn't evacuate in time will go extinct as the clouds slowly constrict the land and prevent the sun from climbing to the sky to the point where it made said sun cross the DespairEventHorizon. Even as a child, he quickly recognized the situation as both [[TheMigration a full-blown refugee crisis]] as well as an extinction level event unfolding. This also made him realize how serious Bowser was when he meant revenge after the events of ''VideoGame/SuperMario64'' [[KnightOfCerebus since he was terrified of him during his early childhood]] and the events of this game did not help change his opinion of Bowser at the time.

* During a guest appearance on LetsPlay/JoshJepson's first ''VideoGame/Pikmin2'' livestream, Chugga tells a story of how he was outright ''[[FairWeatherMentor exploited]]'' by a card shop he used to buy ''TabletopGame/{{Pokemon}}'' cards from. People recognized him whenever he went there, which wasn't a big deal to him, until one visit, where a boy came up to him and said he didn't know there was a meetup happening. Chugga was confused by this, until he looked on Website/{{Facebook}} and found out that the store's owner had [[GoingForTheBigScoop taken a picture of him without his permission or knowledge]], and used him to advertise the shop. When Chugga went to go file a complaint to the owner, he was suddenly stopped by a cranky old man with a beer belly, who told him that [[{{Gaslighting}} this is his life, and that if he doesn't appreciate all this exploitation, he's not worthy of being a YouTuber]]. This was the straw that broke the camel's back, and Chugga [[BrokenPedestal stopped shopping there altogether]]. He also saw the store at a convention later selling their cards for [[HonestJohnsDealership overinflated prices]] compared to before, making him happy with his decision to stop supporting them.

* ''VideoGame/Splatoon2'': When Marie discovers that Callie is being held by the Octarians, Chugga feels really bad over the fact that due to the way the Let's Play works, he can't go save her now, even though he really wants too.
