I originally came here when I was looking up story ideas for an RPG I wanted to make. Since then, I've decided to stay and scrap the RPG for a web novel (Unfortunately, [[TVTropesWillRuinYourLife I tend to stay on this site too often to work on it]] or by the time I have ideas I get Writer's Block). I know I'm missing a few, but these are just some examples of what the site helped me get into or at least had a hand in helping me get into.

Before I started reading TV Tropes, I was largely indifferent towards this franchise. I'd heard about what a surprise sensation ''Friendship Is Magic'' sensation it became, but I never bothered to look into it. But after I kept seeing the series come up everywhere on this wiki, it became interested (I specifically remember reading something about pony punching out something called a changeling somewhere) and when it happened to be on one day, I decided what the heck, watched it, and became hooked and with the very expansive list of fan works on this sight, found a seemingly endless array of content related to the show.

After finally reading it, I am happy to report that not only was it not as bad as I had thought, but it left me on a fairly optimistic note. Now I like to take some time every so often to browse the FanFicRecommendations page.

I might have to resort to Website/{{Googl|e}}ing it, since I can't find it on Website/FanFictionDotNet.
