* Auron seems to ship Tidus and Yuna in ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyX'', repeatedly making comments to Tidus to guard Yuna, stay by her side, don't push her away, etc. Rikku also seems to approve.
** Whereas some of the others try to drive them apart, not so much because they want one or the other for themselves, but [[spoiler: Yuna was going to die until they said ScrewDestiny.]]

* In ''VideoGame/StarOceanTheLastHope'', Welch makes it perfectly clear how much she thinks [[OfficialCouple Edge and Reimi]] should be together.

* Demon Delinquent Raspberyl of ''VideoGame/{{Disgaea 3|AbsenceOfJustice}}'' loves to pair people together; usually Almaz and Princess Sapphire or [[VideoGame/Disgaea2CursedMemories Adell and Rozalin.]]

* Because of the type of game LuxPain is, it is expected that there are A LOT of shippers. [[NiceGuy Ryo]] / [[BrokenAce Hibiki]] [[HoYay is shipped]] the most by [[YaoiFangirl Suzu]], [[TheHero Atsuki]] (although rather reluctantly due to Suzu literally annoying him to get an answer about the two) and [[EveryoneCanSeeIt technically the whole school]] if Mika's dialogue has anything to say to it.

* Throughout ''VideoGame/KingdomHeartsII'', DonaldDuck and {{Goofy}} supportively tease Sora about his feelings for Kairi. When Kairi and Sora reunite in the end and share a tender embrace, the camera cuts to Donald and Goofy looking pleased.
** Sora can act like this for the canon Disney couples. He gets downright misty-eyed when Disney/{{Mulan}} and Shang are appointed the Emperor's joint bodyguards, and seems to approve of Will and Elizabeth (which leads to some of the aforementioned teasing from Donald and Goofy).
** In a somewhat weirder incident in ''Days'', Xigbar gives Roxas dating advice for impressing Xion. [[spoiler:The catch, of course, is that this relationship fast turns into one huge ShapeshiftingSquick, and Roxas hasn't a clue. Given that Xigbar knew this, he was probably just being a dick.]]
** And let's not forget about Olette. When Kairi stumbles into Twilight Town, befriends the gang, and tells her story about Sora and the others (i.e. the events of the first ''Kingdom Hearts''), Olette is utterly ''mystified'' by it, going as far to call it "romantic."
** In Chain of Memories, Tidus, Wakka and Selphie tease Sora about his feelings for Namine, and Selphie says, "Go get her, cowboy." [[spoiler:This whole scene is a lie that the Organization forced Namine to construct.]]
** In ''VideoGame/KingdomHeartsBirthBySleep'', [[{{Keet}} Ven]] is implied to ship [[TallDarkAndHandsome Terra]] and [[CoolBigSis Aqua]], running off and fetching them to be "[[ParentalSubstitute his parents]]" when he's offered a trip to an amusement park.

*** If Prince Ryoma and his subordinate Kagerou reach S-Support/marriage level, she will tell him that one of her friends told her that she should reveal her feelings to him. The friend's name isn't mentioned, but there are two strong candidates: her best friend [[TheOjou Orochi]] and [[spoiler: her ex-boyfriend and actual partner, [[{{Ninja}} Saizou]].]]

*** Interestingly, both Genis and Raine cool off on the ship once the Tethe'alla half of the plot starts, Genis because he has his own (utterly unrequired) crush on Presea to focus on and Raine because she seems to push for the ship because she knew [[spoiler: Colette was going to die when she regenerated the world, so it might have been a case of LetThemDieHappy.]] There's also the fact [[StudentTeacherRomance Lloyd/Raine is a possible ship]] later on.

** ''VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening'' has one very odd version of it thrown in. Apparently [[OurDragonsAreDifferent Manaketes]] can commune with their god, [[PhysicalGod Naga]], simply by praying to them. The entirety of the support between [[HalfHumanHybrid Nah]] and [[MommasBoy a male!Morgan]] is Naga subtly working to hook them up. [[spoiler: And in the S one, Nah says that Naga apparently told her that she and Morgan should "{{GetARoom}}."]] (Then again, [[BreakTheCutie both kids have had]] ''[[OrphansOrdeal very]]'' [[OrphansOrdeal harsh early lives]], so...)

*** On the other hand, Sain notices that his best friend Kent has a crush on Lyn and encourages it, [[MatchmakerCrush despite claiming to have a crush on Lyn too.]] Ironically, because every character is limited to five supports per playthrough, [[EpicFail Kent won't be able to follow up with Lyn if he and Sain hit A-support first]].

*** On the other hand, Sain notices that his best friend Kent has a crush on Lyn and encourages it, [[MatchmakerCrush despite claiming to have a crush on Lyn too.]]

** In the first game, most of Vale seems to ship Garet and Jenna, but they wonder if Aiola will steal his heart instead. Obviously they don't tell the player such things, but reading their minds after Aiola is recruited reveals all.

* In ''VideoGame/{{Super Robot Wars Z}}2'', the whole of ZEXIS takes sides in the [[MacrossFrontier Ranka/Alto/Sheryl]] LoveTriangle.

* ''ManaKhemiaAlchemistsOfAlRevis'' had Flay and the [[{{Familiar}} Mana]] of Light towards said mana's [[KidWithTheLeash contractor's]] [[TheRival Roxis]] and [[CuteGhostGirl Pamela]]. However, they were doing it only for laughs, trying to humiliate Roxis more, since that's what his ''own Mana'' has as a ''hobby''.

* In ''StarOceanTheLastHope'', Welch makes it perfectly clear how much she thinks [[OfficialCouple Edge and Reimi]] should be together.

* Apparently in ''SamuraiWarriors 3'', Kaihime and Keiji encourage Kunoichi to confess to Yukimura, while Magoichi also comments that Yukimura is a lucky dog for having Kunoichi by his side, while [[spoiler: Kunoichi herself is more of a Yukimura/Inahime shipper in Inahime's musou mode.]]

* ''LuminousArc2'''s [[spoiler:Ayano]] hints, nudges and outright tease [[TheHero Roland]] for a Roland/Althea pairing. [[spoiler: One reason is because ThePowerOfLove can help Althea deal with her Beast Fiend origin.]]

* If you try to express interest in Mira as a male character in ''KnightsOfTheOldRepublic 2'', she points out rather bluntly that Visas and the Handmaiden are both infatuated with you and she doesn't want to have to beat them both off if she starts sharing a bunk with you. To the dismay of many fans.

She also apparently writes erotic "Friend-fiction" in her spare time; Varric finds it hilarious.

* In ''VideoGame/DiabloIII'', one of your followers, the Templar Kormac, falls for one of the others, the Enchantress Eirena, but he's bound by his oaths to his order, and she's ObliviousToLove. In the expansion, the player starts encouraging them to get together, [[spoiler: since Kormac's order has been found to be corrupt and he feels no loyalty to them anymore, and Eirena confirms that she's the only one of her sisters to have survived, and has no on left]].
* In ''VideoGame/TraumaCenter'', a number of people at Caduceus (including Cybil and Mary at Hope Hospital) can see Doctor Derek and Nurse Angie as lovebirds...but [[TsunDere Angie's]] the most defiant when it comes to those remarks. [[spoiler: [[LastMinuteHookup the two share a moment at the end of Under The Knife 2.]]]]

** In ''Fuuin no Tsurugi'', Marcus seems to be this for Roy and Lilina, especially in his supports with the latter.

** The King of the Zoras ships Link/[[Royal Brat Ruto]], though Link seems less then keen...

* In DigitalDevilSaga, Heat's line of ''"She's just pissed because her girlfriend [[spoiler: got killed]]."'' indicates that he may ship [[LesYay Argilla/Jinana]].

*** Also, Ninian [[WhenSheSmiles laughs for the first time in the game]] when she hears Eliwood lampshading Hector and Lyn's SlapSlapKiss dynamics. Yup, Ninian ships Hector/Lyn; reasonable, since otherwise Lyn might end up with Eliwood, which would be kind of bad for her...
