* ''VideoGame/TheEndTimesVermintide'': In a few Lohner's Chronicle posts, the spymaster openly speculates that Kerillian and Kruber have a thing for one another, writing about it in his journal. Kerillian threatens him into stopping his speculation in "A Close Call" when she figures it out, and while he does stop on pain of mutilation, the affair doesn't seem to have actually changed his mind about the pairing. Said speculation took the form of prose poetry, much to Sienna's amusement. As of "Message From Okri", [[https://www.vermintide.com/news/franz-lohners-chronicle-a-message-from-okri he's back at it]] despite said threats, having simply resorted to slightly changing the spelling of their names to dodge the worst of the hot water.

* In ''VideoGame/ArcRiseFantasia'', Cecille ships L'Arc and Ryfia. She'll subtly clue in on one's feelings for the other, though usually she does this around Ryfia more than L'Arc.
* Joule of ''VideoGame/AzureStrikerGunvolt'' is obviously in love with the eponymous character GV, but she CannotSpitItOut. The manifestation of her powers, Lumen (who can exist like a separate entity from Joule), tries to bridge the gap. Why?

* In Chapter 8 of ''VideoGame/BoxxyQuestTheGatheringStorm'', Til and Tyalie get into a brief debate over which party members would be the most likely to get shipped together by fans, [[WhoWouldWantToWatchUs (if they had any fans, that is)]]. Tyalie believes that [[BelligerentSexualTension Til/Anonymous]] would be the most popular pairing, and calls it cute, much to Til's embarrassment.
* In ''VideoGame/CastlevaniaDawnOfSorrow'', most of Soma's friends will tease him about Mina, with [[SheIsNotMyGirlfriend flustered reactions from both]]. Julius, however, is completely, absolutely, sincerely dead serious about wanting them to find happiness together. [[spoiler:Given that he's a Belmont, Julius probably knows too well that Dracula's evil began (twice) with losing his love, and doesn't want Soma to go down the same road.]]
* Of the four romantic interests in the game Johnny in ''VideoGame/Cyberpunk2077'' only outwardly approves of Panam, the stubborn, firey, yet principled Nomad, perhaps because she closely resembles his old flame Rogue.

* There are hints that Trish from ''VideoGame/DevilMayCry'' is this towards Dante and Lady, stating in [[Anime/DevilMayCryTheAnimatedSeries the anime's]] [[https://www.reddit.com/r/DevilMayCry/comments/9ebek9/english_summary_of_devil_may_cry_audio_drama_vol_1/ audio drama]] that Lady is [[CannotSpitItOut "clumsy"]] regarding her interactions with Dante, who in turn she calls "[[ObliviousToLove dense]]." This starts from the moment she starts talking with Lady, implying that Lady [[GreenEyedMonster is jealous of her partnership with Dante]]. However, considering this is [[TheGadfly Trish]], she may have just been [[{{Troll}} trying to get a rise out of Lady]].
* In ''VideoGame/DiabloIII'', one of your followers, the Templar Kormac, falls for one of the others, the Enchantress Eirena, but he's bound by his oaths to his order, and she's ObliviousToLove. In the expansion, the player starts encouraging them to get together, [[spoiler: since Kormac's order has been found to be corrupt and he feels no loyalty to them anymore, and Eirena confirms that she's the only one of her sisters to have survived, and has no one left]].
* In ''VideoGame/DigitalDevilSaga'', Heat's line of "She's just pissed because her girlfriend [[spoiler:got killed]]" indicates that he may ship [[HoYay Argilla/Jinana]].

* In the ''Manga/FushigiYuugiGenbuKaiden'' video game ''Garasu no Miko'', the PlayerCharacter [[NiceGirl Mariko]] [[TimeTravel Kobayashi]] can potentially become a rather die-hard Takiko x Uruki shipper, if the player chooses the "Friendship" path that focuses on both girls' bonds.
* In ''VideoGame/GranblueFantasy'', Korwa will ''happily'' take her place at the bow for any possible romance occurring within about a half-mile radius of her. One of her most notable leanings, however, is Captain/Carren during Summer 2017 "Poacher's Day" event.

* At the end of ''VideoGame/ResidentEvil2Remake'', [[spoiler:Sherry asks if Leon and Claire are boyfriend and girlfriend, Leon tells Sherry that [[SheIsNotMyGirlfriend he only met Claire the previous night]], though Claire says that if they were going out "[[ZombieApocalypse that would've been helluva first date]]." Sherry undauntedly asks if Leon and Claire can adopt her, the whole exchange is very sweet but it's also kinda heartbreaking if you remember Sherry just [[ParentalAbandonment lost]] her MadScientist parents so in [[ShippingGoggles Sherry's mind]] Claire and Leon being together is perfect [[ParentalSubstitute for her]].]]

* ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfHeroesKuroNoKiseki'' has Rene Kincaid who ships his two childhood friends [[TheHero Van Arkride]] and Elaine Auclaire and manages to succeed when the two go out during their high school years. [[spoiler:Then Van decides to drop out of high school, leaving the two of them with Rene confused as to why Van decided to leave Elaine just like that.]] He still does ship the two of them in the present day but still wonders as to [[DarkAndTroubledPast what is going on with Van.]]

* ''VideoGame/Tekken7'' has Lee Chaolan playing the role to [[RoboShip Lars and Alisa]]. After [[RobotGirl the latter]] was taken out of commission in ''6''[='=]s climax due to [[spoiler:Jin triggering her OverrideCommand and Alisa subsequently shutting down from all the damage she sustained from both her fight with Lars and the strain on her systems]], Lee labors to repair Alisa at the request of Lars. The moment her repairs are complete (and [[LetsYouAndHimFight a little misunderstanding]] is resolved), Lee offers to take Alisa to see Lars, an offer she hastily accepts. And then, when [[TheGlomp Alisa happily pounces on Lars]] during their reunion, Lee can be seen smiling and clapping his hands, proclaiming "[[CatchPhrase Excellent!]] How moving!"

* Because of the type of game ''VisualNovel/LuxPain'' is, it's expected that there are A LOT of shippers. [[NiceGuy Ryo]]/[[BrokenAce Hibiki]] [[HoYay is shipped]] the most by [[YaoiFangirl Suzu]], [[TheHero Atsuki]] (although rather reluctantly due to Suzu literally annoying him to get an answer about the two) and [[EveryoneCanSeeIt technically the whole school]] if Mika's dialogue has anything to say to it.
* Many people who originally tried to hook [[HotBlooded Akira]] up with [[GenkiGirl Mika]] suddenly switch to Akira trying to get along with [[TheQuietOne Atsuki]].
** Akira's ''father'' of all people has a more noticeable switch in the last chapter of the game when he mentions that all his son talks about is Atsuki and how if Atsuki plans on leaving, he should come back because he's welcome. Note that this is what he said to Mika earlier in the game and while it still applies he's referring to the fact that Mika is like the daughter he never had.
** Then there's [[CheerfulChild Nami]] who, despite shipping herself with Atsuki, has dropped a lot of hints concerning why Atsuki constantly chooses Sweet Ring (the restaurant Akira's father owns and where Akira works) to eat out whenever he takes his friends out. Shortly after she says that, Akira shows up and her sprite has this funny smile on her face.
** A minor character in Episode 19, [[CampGay Shunichi]], stops searching for his friend to talk to Atsuki. While the original conversation was about his friend [[KnowledgeBroker Kyosuke]] having a girlfriend (which he assumes is Mika), he suddenly asks about Atsuki's preference. The correct answer is saying that Atsuki isn't interested in dating (girls) and Shunichi suddenly assumes that Atsuki likes Akira (and the player is assuming that Atsuki denies it with how quickly the conversation changes).

* Done literally in ''VisualNovel/NineHoursNinePersonsNineDoors'' with most of the others on the ship.

** Sojiro Sakura actively encourages the main character to find a girlfriend and openly supports his efforts. It's most noticeable on Valentine's Day, where Sojiro will close the shop early so the protagonist and his companion of choice can have a romantic date alone. Of course, [[OverprotectiveDad he's not fully comfortable with the protagonist dating his daughter, Futaba]], warning him to not "try anything funny" before closing the shop for them.

** Though [[OverprotectiveDad Takuma]] takes [[ShippingTorpedo the exact OPPOSITE stance]] in regards to his daughter, Yuri, dating [[LatinLover Robert]] because he feels [[MillionairePlayboy the billionaire playboy]] might take advantage of his baby girl... despite Ryo actually ''supporting'' his little sister's feelings for Robert, during both their endings in ''[[VideoGame/ArtOfFighting Art of Fighting 3]]''.

** Though [[OverprotectiveDad Takuma]] takes [[ShippingTorpedo the exact OPPOSITE stance]] in regards to his daughter, Yuri, dating [[LatinLover Robert]] because he feels [[RichIdiotWithNoDayJob the billionaire playboy]] might take advantage of his baby girl... despite Ryo actually ''supporting'' his little sister's feelings for Robert, during both their endings in ''[[VideoGame/ArtOfFighting Art of Fighting 3]]''.

* In ''[[VideoGame/CastlevaniaChroniclesOfSorrow Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow]]'', most of Soma's friends will tease him about Mina, with [[SheIsNotMyGirlfriend flustered reactions from both]]. Julius, however, is completely, absolutely, sincerely dead serious about wanting them to find happiness together. ** [[spoiler: Hubert, Edelgard's NumberTwo and BattleButler, initially serves as an anti-ship between Byleth and Edelgard, to the point of [[MurderTheHypotenuse outright considering murdering Byleth directly in front of them over how close they're getting to Edelgard.]] However, it is clear he is doing this because he fears you turning against her or otherwise derailing her morally dubious ambitions [[ProperlyParanoid (which considering every other route he has a]] ''[[ProperlyParanoid very good reason]]'' [[ProperlyParanoid to not trust you)]], and on Crimson Flower (where you side with her), he completely ditches this behavior, becomes oddly friendly and affable with Byleth, ceases to make a fuss about Byleth and Edelgard's closeness, and even hands you Edelgard's favorite items for completing rather simple tasks, the intent seeming to have you give them to her and grow closer. His role as this becomes clear considering he himself loves Edelgard, but [[IJustWantMyBelovedToBeHappy knows he cannot provide her the emotional support Byleth does,]] and so several times outright ''begs'' Byleth to stay by her side and make her happy. Considering [[AssassinOutclassin the]] [[TallDarkAndSnarky kind]] [[ViolentlyProtectiveBoyfriend of]] [[TheFixer guy]] [[PoisonousFriend Hubert]] [[MurderIstheBestSolution is]] (plus the fact that Hubert can [[MatchmakerCrush fall in love with a female Byleth himself]])... that says something]].
