** Worse, matters legal get ''significant'' attention in this series (it is DavidEKelley writing it, after all). It all serves to keep before us ''exactly'' how illegal every single thing Diana does is, even as the plot treats her like everything she does is right. She ''literally'' commits more crimes than her enemies.

* WellIntentionedExtremist: Wonder Woman probably has good intentions as far as her warped mind is concerned, stopping harmful drugs from getting on the street and saving ghetto kids from dying from freaky steroid use.

not evil following the story

* ThereAreNoGoodExecutives: Veronica Cale is a CorruptCorporateExecutive who is willing to do illegal experiments on people brought in via human trafficking, distributes the unsafe product to ghetto kids for testing, and uses her pull with government officials to intimidate her enemies, all for profit. Wonder Woman's toady wants to exploit Wonder Woman's body to make profits. Wonder Woman herself isn't too concerned about money and power, being totally willing to screw her company's bottom line because she doesn't want her body to be exploited (or so she says; he's understandably bewildered by this since it's her design and she approved the prototype), making her not a CorruptCorporateExecutive as per the trope definition. Of course, her use of brutal vigilantism, torture, condemnation of due process, breaking and entering, and outright murder simply makes her a superpowered psychopath who happens to be a businesswoman.

The ''Wonder Woman'' pilot was expected to air in 2011, but NBC opted not to buy the series. * MythologyGag: Her company is called Themyscira Industries after the island she grew up on in the comics, and Greek vases are shown inside her board's discussion room.
* NoBadgeNoProblem: One of the more blatant examples, what with Wonder Woman torturing a suspect in police custody with the only problem being that the police can't use the information, or Wonder Woman breaking into a place to make it a crime scene with no consequences even though the reason it's a crime scene is because Wonder Woman is breaking and entering (and murdering people).

* PoliceAreUseless: A very interesting take on the trope. The police are actually not useless in any sense of the word. They do their jobs, uphold due process, arrest criminals, and none are seen to be dirty. However the show itself tries to make them appear useless for doing all just stated above. As if stating the cops need to start arresting and shooting everyone that even appears guiltily and ignore their constitutional rights (like our Hero) to be effective.

* ProtagonistCenteredMorality: Wonder Woman engages in brutal take-downs of suspects, takes evidence illegally, is resentful toward due process, publicly slanders her opponents without evidence while fully admitting she doesn't have evidence, will approve her toys before having a complete 180 on them thus screwing over production, flies a plane in the middle of a city, tortures an unarmed prisoner in a hospital bed for information, breaks into a facility without a warrant so she can turn the place into a crime scene so the police can move in even though logically by breaking in she's the one who should be arrested, assaults and murders the people on the scene, and uses excessive force to subdue her rival. And the only people who complain about this kind of excessive behavior are her obviously strawman opponents, her obviously unworthy corporate stooge, and Dr Phil. The only reason this isn't also MoralDissonance is because she does get [[WhatTheHellHero called out]] for her behavior; it's just that the people doing it are so slimy they should be ignored.

Since getting out, the pilot has been reviewed by numerous online critics, including a combined review by [[http://channelawesome.com/wonder-woman-2011-a-review/ Linkara, Film Brain, and Nash]], as well as [[http://sfdebris.com/videos/tv/wonderwoman.php Chuck Sonnenburg]] of ''Website/SFDebris'' and [[http://blip.tv/the-idiots-lantern/the-idiot-s-lantern-wonder-woman-2011-pilot-5587816 The Wire]] of ''WebVideo/TheIdiotsLantern''. They were all quite horrified. The full pilot can be seen [[http://www.epicgeekdom.com/2014/05/22/wonder-woman-unaired-pilot/ HERE]].

-->'''Website/SFDebris''': Wonder Woman in this universe, literally, can do no wrong. She lives in a world where she could throw babies at war amputees and be called a hero.

-->'''SF Debris:''' You go there to your damn cat, watch a chick flick, and you mess about on Facebook. You don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend there, no kids, no elderly relatives, no job, no causes, no time with friends. That's not a normal life. It's a ''fucking treehouse''.

-->'''[[WebVideo/WhatTheFuckIsWrongWithYou Nash]]''': See, kids? Corruption and mendacity are okay if they work in ''your'' favor.
-->'''Website/SFDebris''': Ah. So when the government official connected to the bad guy upholds the law, that's bad. When the government official connected to the good guy ignores the law, that's good.

** WebSite/SFDebris explains in his review why this trope works for someone like Batman but not Wonder Woman:
--->'''[=SFDebris=]''': Batman exists in a world where crime is so rampant that ordinary people live in fear and the judicial system is powerless to curtail it. Wonder Woman's world is so squeaky clean, her number-one concern is somebody testing ''drugs'' with harmful side effects.

-->'''SF Debris:''' Obviously, if you're against being objectified, step one… is to have your likeness captured in an object.

-->'''Nash!Wonder Woman''': Laws are for poor people.

* TortureAlwaysWorks: How Wonder Woman learns the location of the Cale's lab. The Wire, in her review of the pilot, points out one of the key problems with this.
-->'''The Wire''': Another reason authorities cannot act on information extracted by torture is that it's famously unreliable. I'll let [[Series/BurnNotice Michael Westen]] explain…
-->'''Michael Westen''': Torture just gets you the fastest lie to make the pain stop.

* BrokenAesop: Wonder Woman goes on a long, and in many ways, unnecessary rant opposing her image being objectified... and then later attempts to use IHaveBoobsYouMustObey on a security guard. Kinda misses the point of being objectified if you're willing to do it to yourself... and that's ''without'' getting into the point that she actually approved of the doll responsible for objectifying her before she apparently had a last-minute change of opinion because she wasn't paying attention to it when she first approved it.

* BrokenAesop: Wonder Woman goes on a long, and in many ways, unnecessary rant opposing her image being objectified... and then later attempts to use IHaveBoobsYouMustObey on a security guard. ''Wonder Woman'' is a never-aired television pilot produced by Creator/WarnerBros Television and DC Entertainment for NBC, based on the Creator/DCComics [[Franchise/WonderWoman character of the same name]]. Creator/DavidEKelley wrote the pilot and Jeffrey Reiner directed it. Creator/AdriannePalicki starred as the main character. The ''Wonder Woman'' pilot was expected to air in 2011, but NBC opted not to buy the series. Although it was never distributed officially, copies got out (though an incomplete version that had yet to have a final musical score and special effects added). One of Diana's uniforms ended up being [[PropRecycling recycled]] on ''Series/HarrysLaw'' by ''{{Series/Smallville}}'' alum Erica Durance, playing a [[NapoleonDelusion delusional client]] who believes she's the real Wonder Woman.

* SeriousBusiness: Part of the reason why Wonder Woman is loathed by the viewership for actions that would not be out of place with a Batman comic is because Wonder Woman treats her crusade against Veronica Cale's harmful performance-enhancing drugs with the same zeal as you would expect Batman would pursuing a psychotic wielding a doomsday device.

SF Debris doesn't directly make this comparison

* SeriousBusiness: As Website/SFDebris points out in his review of why Batman can get away with what Wonder Woman does in this show is because Wonder Woman seems to treat her mission of taking down these illegal drugs with harmful side effects as if she was trying to find a doomsday weapon wielded by a psychotic.
