''Lucifer'' was an UrbanFantasy crime procedural that debuted on Creator/{{Fox}} in 2016. It's based (however loosely) on the character Lucifer Morningstar from Creator/NeilGaiman's ''ComicBook/TheSandman'' and Creator/MikeCarey's ''ComicBook/{{Lucifer}}'', both published by Creator/DCComics under its Creator/{{Vertigo|Comics}} imprint.
