LoserSonOfLoserDad is about unfair perception, before the son even does anything he is compared to his father. To many examples are of the son actually taking after his father which belongs under InTheBlood. Another weapon trope to deal with.

KatanasAreJustBetter is when the katana is portrayed as superior to other weapons. Like other weapon tropes, it quickly devolved into "a katana is used / present". A [[Sandbox.KatanasBetterCheck wick check]] is conducted to gauge the severity of misuse and sinkholes. Here are the results:

SheIsAllGrownUp is when a character acknowledges a friend of theirs (usually a Childhood Friend) has grown up to look nice. Unfortunately, the requirement of there being an In-Universe Acknowledgement is often ignored, leading to many examples simply describing a character that has grown up. I conducted a [[Sandbox/WickCheckIsAllGrownUp wick check]] to see how much misuse there was, and here are the results:

AbortedDeclarationOfLove is supposed to be about when a character has a last chance to confess their love for a character, but doesn't go through with it do to the fact that the character confessed to will not be able act on the confession.

Unfortunately a good deal of the wicks of the character abort their declaration with no indication that they will get no other chance, more often then not it is a mere speedbump on the road to the declaration of love.

Most examples fit under the trope FalseStart, however that trope also includes instances of InterruptedDeclarationOfLove and MomentKiller. CanNotSpitItOut is similar but is a character trope, and can be about other things a character can not spit out other then love.
