Comics being what they are, the reset button was eventually pushed on this, with the laughable Hand Wave that it was just a clone that Wolverine killed and not the real thing (which is semi-plausible given the SendInTheClones example below, but you'd figure if anyone could tell the difference between the real Creed and one of his clones that it would be Logan).

Done again in Chapter 63, only scream the phrase "GROUNDED GROUNDED GROUNDED", they're Opposite Sex Clones. They have free will, though, and it all goes downhill from there. The movie's antagonist 'teleports' Eric to a 'pocket dimension', which becomes a Big-Lipped Alligator Moment set in a 'collapsing dream' complete with a melodramatic Final Speech from a fading Gonk-ish Bartender, and finally, a conclusion that ultimately does nothing to advance the plot, as it was All Just a Dream. Eric himself lampshades it all after waking up.

# LaserGuidedAmnesia.AnimeAndManga: Tsubasa -RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE- appears to do
back, though. Discord does this to Princess Sakura regarding her relationship AGAIN in ch.115, as he recreates the Mane Six's clones, along with Syaoran; clones of Ryoga, Ranma, and Shampoo with fake memories based on the truth is much, much more complicated.
fake memories trick Discord pulled as Discord's last gambit to stop them from restoring Akane's memories.
# Characters.ElfenLied: They are sent TheGamersDorknessRising: Leo's bard dies quickly and often. Tired of losing levels every time he's resurrected, he asks Lodge if he can just replace his character with another when he dies. He then prepares 50 bards, sending in a new one every time the last one dies. Leading to capture Lucy.an incident during a large battle where the party needs to seek cover from an exceptionally powerful enemy and Leo advises them to "hide behind the mound of dead bards." And it works.
# TransformersPrime.TropesSToZ: Starscream does this with five clones of himself. Unlike Transformers: Animated though, they aren't that distinct from each other, which probably contributes to why they come within a few seconds of actually terminating Megatron if Airachnid hadn't chosen to attack as well.

# TrademarkFavoriteFood.AnimeAndManga: All variants and incarnations of Desty Nova (except the uber-evil Super Nova as of the moment) of Battle Angel Alita have an infamous love for flan. It goes to such lengths that Super Nova’s apparent lack of a flan-eating habit has become the indication of his evilness.
# YMMV.{{Wolverines}}: The Gripses casual disregard when Shogun kills one of them. Except for one, who calls him a monster. The fact that Sinister used Ben Reilly as a cloning template. The backfire is utterly epic, as Yuri winds up crying Tears of Joy at the sheer level of planning and deviousness such a strategy requires, then goes and teaches all those haughty hacks their place, because as the one who pioneered the Lethal Joke Character build they're emulating, he knows all their weaknesses.
# Characters.SentinelsOfTheMultiverseVillainsIToW: The Skinwalker Crisis Crossover has Gloomweaver raise Spite from the dead, then assume direct control of his corpse as part of his plan to return to the world of the living... or that's what was supposed to happen, had the OblivAeon event not cut the Skinwalker storyline short in the metafiction. With Spite dead again and Gloomweaver trapped in the oblivion shard of Doctor Medico, neither play any part in the battle with OblivAeon (on either side), the game's only non-team villains other than the Chairman not to appear. Of course, at least in the Tactics timeline, that means it's time to create a small army of drug-fueled Spite clones after the fact.

# Characters.GuildWars2ElderDragons: IndustrializedEvil: Despite being associated with nature, Mordremoth is arguably this. It has strong Lawful Evil tendencies, as evidenced by its scheming, and instead of chaotic and uncontrolled corruption of other Elder Dragons, the way its Mordrem are created is equal parts gruesome and efficient - see SendInTheClones below.
# Characters.MarvelComicsSabretooth: JokerImmunity: While most villains with a Healing Factor qualify for this by default, being Wolverine's penultimate villain gives ol' Sabes a VIP case, with two absolutely confirmed deaths on his record that he came back from and tons of Never Found the Body cases. Of special note is Creed's 2007 death in Wolverine's solo title, which saw him decapitated with the Murasama Blade (a sword specifically forged to kill people with healing factors) and later being shown in hell just to establish him as being very definitely Deader than Dead.

# Film.IronManFilms: A major motif in the sequel, where different rogue states, corporations and individuals try to create their own, preferably mass-produced Iron Men, with varying (lack of) success. Foreshadowed in the first movie: Raza, the terrorist leader, asks Obadiah Stane for "a gift of iron soldiers" based on Tony Stark's suit. Also foreshadowed by Raza's 'iron soldiers' comment, Iron Legion. In the next part, we find Bob in another tank, this time in the dam control room. A clone, perhaps? In part 4 of HeXen, Charles is teleported into a room full of Wendigos. He uses a Banishment Device to warp one to a random location on the map, to make the room merely bullshit rather than straight-up Unwinnable. Later, while leaving the piston room after opening up the Secret Level, he runs into the Wendigo on the elevator. Cue death.
