Hyun Bin (born Kim Tae-pyung on September 25, 1982) is a South Korean actor. He became well-known for his role in the romantic comedy-drama My Lovely Sam-soon and solidified his romantic leading man image with Secret Garden. Following his mandatory military service, he made his return to acting with his first period film, The Fatal Encounter.
He starred alongside his future wife, Son Ye-jin, in The Negotiation and Crash Landing on You.
