* On that note, Cream's temple is a recreation of her home in the mortal plane, as portrayed in Anime/SonicX and [[VideoGame/SonicRushSeries Sonic Rush]], wherein her mother resides. However, a large and vibrant Chao Garden was added in at Cream and Cheese's request to provide a home for many wild Chao, whom Cheese and his brother, Chocola, could socialize with. Being the welcoming little girl that she is, Cream allowed any non-evil Gods to enter her temple so they could care for and play with the many wild Chao, as well as have tea with her mother. Incidentally, this means that other Gods spend more time in Cream's temple than Cream herself.

** In addition to reporting and investigating, Jade does all sorts of photography work. Among her favorite kinds of photo jobs is cataloguing species (including sapient ones) for science organizations, which Jade found both fun and lucrative as she photographed animals and people for Hillys' Science Center during her work with IRIS Network. With the abundant amount of different species in the Pantheon, especially in the House of BeastsAndFauna, there is no shortage of such work for Jade and she can often be seen taking photographs of wildlife and people across the Pantheon. And because of this, Jade developed a bond with most of the inhabitants of BeastsAndFauna, whom she protects almost as fiercely as the orphans under her care.
** When doing covert work, Jade goes by the codename of 'Shauni', a word she first heard from one of the [=DomZ=] that stuck with her for reasons she could not figure. When she confronted the [=DomZ=] High Priest, though, Jade realized why that word stuck with her: [[spoiler:'Shauni' is Jade’s true identity, and she is the entity whom the [=DomZ=] derived power from before she was turned human by Pey'j and Jade's "parents". Whether that makes Jade a [=DomZ=] herself or something even higher is something yet to be figured out, but regardless she is one hundred percent human for all intents and purposes, and Jade prefers to identify as such]]. * A young woman who makes a living as a freelance photojournalist on the oceanic planet of Hillys. Jade had lived on the peaceful mining planet with [[PigMan Pey'j]], her beloved HonoraryUncle, for as long as she could remember. However, Hillys would find itself being constantly invaded by the [=DomZ=], a parasitic alien race that abducts people to drain their life force, with their war leaving behind no shortage of orphans whom Jade and Pey'j took under their care at their lighthouse island home. As the [=DomZ=] war raged on, despite the diligent work of the [[PrivateMilitaryContractors Alpha Sections]] in combating the monstrous aliens, Jade began running low on funds for food and electricity and readily took on a lucrative job from the representative of 'Mr. De Castellac'. After finishing that job, which involved fighting a huge [=DomZ=] monster, Jade was informed that Mr. De Castellac does not exist and the representative was actually the second-in-command of IRIS Network, a [[LaResistance rebel organization]] who believe the Alpha Sections to be conspiring with the [=DomZ=] and trafficking people to the aliens between invasions. IRIS was in dire need of a reporter to capture photographic evidence of the Alpha Sections' duplicity and Jade proved herself to be just the person they needed, the photography job being a test for Jade's skills. Seeing a chance to end the [=DomZ=] war once and for all, Jade joined IRIS Network under the codename 'Shauni' and set out to reveal the truth about the Alpha Sections to the people of Hillys. Though Jade suffered some personal losses from this endeavor, with Pey'j getting captured in an Alpha Sections' base and her lighthouse home getting destroyed with all the orphans taken, she persevered enough to expose the Alpha Sections for the traitors that they were to the people of Hillys and took down both [[BigBad General Kehck and the DomZ Priest]], ending thr Alpha Sections and [=DomZ=] threats for good.
* Jade and Pey'j were taking a break from repairing their lighthouse home one day when they recieved an Mdisk from an anonymous figure, which simply contained coordinates to a specific spot in space near the planet of Hillys. Pey'j was incredibly suspicious to the nature of this Mdisk, though Jade saw it as a potential job offer and persuaded her uncle to at least check it out with her. Sure enough, when the woman and pig-man duo arrived to the coordinates via the ''Beluga'', they watched with awe and confusion as the star-lit void of space seamlessly transitioned into an ethereal world of varying landscapes across the horizon, as well as gates and portals scattered around. Upon landing their ship, Jade and Pey'j were greeted by the locals of this strange 'planet' and then escorted to a grand temple on the other side of the area they landed on, wherein the two were to taken to a court room. There, Jade and Pey'j were informed that they were within the Pantheon, a realm of deities that is connected to all realities in existence, and the 'Court of the Gods' were the ones who sent that Mdisk; the Pantheon higher ups having learned about Jade's investigative reporting that lead to her exposing a planet-wide conspiracy and defeating two evil factions, and decided she was the perfect representative for 'IntrepidReporter'. The fact that Jade took on a completely vague message from an anonymous source as a potential job for reporting solidified the court's decision to ascend Jade for the trope.
** Jade was beyond flattered to have impressed a group of gods enough for them to want her to join their ranks, and she agreed to join the Pantheon as the Goddess of [[IntrepidReporter Intrepid Reporters]]. But realizing that this 'invitation' wasn't being extended to Pey'j, whose presence was evidently not expected by the Court of the Gods, Jade requested for her uncle to ascend alongside her as co-deity of the trope. The Court was hesitant to approve Jade's request as Pey'j's official profession is that of an engineer, not a reporter, and clarified that Pey'j could accompany Jade as her herald, a role which the sus sapien vocally didn't mind. But Jade argued that Pey'j is as much a reporter as her since he helps Jade with her photojournalism work almost all the time, and her very freelance company is named "Jade Reporting '''& Co.'''" Not to mention Pey'j [[spoiler:was the founder and leader of IRIS Network, which was all about reporting on the government conspiracy that plagued their planet]]. Seeing the logic in Jade's arguments and realizing she would not relent on this subject, the Court of the Gods extended the title of 'IntrepidReporter' to Pey'j, and so the woman and pig-man ascended to godhood, which they celebrated with a hug.
*** Shortly after ascending, though, Jade facepalmed as she just remembered Double H, a member of IRIS Network whom Jade saved from the Alpha Sections/[=DomZ=] and became her partner after Pey'j got captured, after which the two bonded into FireForgedFriends. Jade attempted to pursuade the Court of the Gods to also ascend Double H for her and Pey'j' trope, however that was soundly denied as Double H is far more of a soldier than a reporter, and his actual reporting skills are terrible. Not wanting to push her luck, Jade conceded to simply having Double H be her and Pey'j's herald. The Hillyan Soldier didn't mind this status upon being first informed, of course, as he's more than happy to simply be of help to Jade and Pey'j for saving his life. Nonetheless, the woman and sus sapien are looking into tropes to ascend Double H.

* Jade and Pey'j can often be seen with Rayman, whom the two feel a [[Creator/MichelAncel strong sense of kinship]] with. Doubly so for Pey'j, as he and Rayman [[Creator/DavidGasman share the same voice]], even if Pey'j's Southern accent makes that hard to tell. Rayman is one of the very few deities both Jade and Pey'j trust to visit their temple without supervision, and the limbless man has certainly become a favorite with the Lighthouse Children due to his silly appearance and fun personality.
** As it happens, there's a species of mosquito on Hillys with the scientific name ''Aedes '''rayman'''is'' that Jade photographed in the Nutripils Factory. Rayman was amused about that coincidence when Jade told him about it, but then he and Jade became weirded out when she showed him the photo and the bug is the same as the mosquitos of the Glade of Dreams, looking almost exactly the same as one of Rayman's friends, Bzzit. Jade, Pey'j, Secundo, and Rayman have since pondered if a couple of mosquitos from the Glade of Dreams traveled to Hillys through the Pantheon, or if something else was at play.
* The feeling of kinship between Jade, Pey'j, and Rayman also extends to Rayman's friends and allies: Globox, Betilla, the Teensies, and the Princesses of the Glade of Dream. Jade gets along with all of Rayman's friends well, though she formed a special bond with Globox and the Princesses. Globox mainly because Jade became an honorary aunt to his children, whom she's as protective of as the orphans under her care, and indeed she and Globox arrange for play dates with said orphans at her and Pey'j's temple (Globox being another trusted deity to freely access said temple). And with the Princesses, Jade bonded with them for being fellow [[ActionGirl badass women]] and became sparring partners with them. Jade and Double H often train with the Princesses in the House of Combat.
** As for Pey'j, while he considers all of Rayman's friends allies, he cannot stand being around Globox due to his [[EnragedByIdiocy idiocy]] and especially been sore with the big fool ever since Globox accidentally damaged Pey'j's machinery with his [[RainDance rain dancing]]. Though Pey'j tries his best to tolerate Globox for the sake of Jade, Rayman, and the orphans. Pey'j also finds the Teensies' constant disco dancing highly annoying.

* It did not take long after meeting Rayman and friends for Jade and Pey'j to meet their enemies: Mr. Dark, Admiral Razorbeard, and the Magician. Suffice it to say, Jade and Pey'j don't like those three one bit and are more than happy to join Rayman, Globox, the Teensies, and the Princesses in kicking any of their asses should those villains start causing trouble. Of Rayman's enemies, though, Jade and Pey'j harbor the most hatred for Admiral Razorbeard since his invasion of the Glade of Dreams and trafficking its many denizens, including children, reminds the two all too much of the Alpha Sections and the [=DomZ=].
