* ''Aaryn'', arguably one of the show's most notorious villains, has managed to gain some supporters in the years since Season 15, mainly by demonstrating on social media that she's grown a lot since what was seen on the season.

Then he revealed himself to actually be a more sympathetic guy outside of the house, and was very entertaining and real in the jury house. [[UpToEleven Then]] he became the deciding vote in voting for [[SitcomArchNemesis Josh]] to win over [[TookALevelInJerkass Paul]], which most people feel made for one of the best finales ever. * Sarah Beth from Big Brother 23 ended her time as a houseguest being the biggest Scrappy of the remaining cast, but then became much more well-liked by fans during her time in the Jury House. This is because, in the house, she fell for the manipulations of [[BigBad Kyland]] and became his pawn, which led her to target multiple fan-favorite houseguests while becoming a {{Jerkass}} to pretty much everyone except for Kyland. In the Jury House segments, she [[TookALevelInKindness mellowed out significantly]] and showed complete awareness of how Kyland had manipulated her into becoming a villain, making her distance herself from him and rebuild her friendships with the rest of the house. The end result is that most fans still dislike Sarah Beth as a houseguest, but like her as a person outside of the game of Big Brother.

* Tiffany from Big Brother 23 started out as rather unpopular for being rude to certain houseguests who were well-liked at the time, such as Sarah Beth and Derek F, treating Sarah Beth’s sexual orientation as invalid, and scheming way more than she needed to. However, as time went on, she began to form genuine bonds with some of the kindest players in the game, including Derek X, Claire, and Hannah, and grew a protective instinct over all of them. She also seemed to get a bit more of an understanding of LGBT people through Claire, which helped make her more likable on that front as well. It wasn’t long before she became like a caring mom to the three of them. Then Sarah Beth and Derek F both started to show their more unlikable qualities as the season went on, to the point of them both becoming TheScrappy for different reasons, and fans started to side with Tiffany over them in both conflicts. Even her scheming ended up becoming something that fans liked, because she helped mastermind the Cookout alliance that ended up being completely successful and guaranteeing that Big Brother would have its first black winner. By the end, fans were livid that her own alliance evicted her first despite her putting the most work into getting them to the end, and when Hannah followed shortly after, a very common fan sentiment was that a Tiffany/Hannah/Claire/Derek X final four would have been vastly preferable to the one we got. For all of this, Tiffany is now one of the most popular choices for players from this season that fans want to see return in the future.

* Paras (a gamer girl who earned the ire of the fans for being a little stuck up) from Canada 6 was originally hated for being annoying and an Alex Expy. But while Alex got meaner over time, after Johnny left Paras quickly became one of the favourites to win after Kaela--and she ended up winning, just like Josh.

Those who have been to college can attest that it can be a place where children of families try to test the boundaries because they've spent their lives up until then under the thumb of their parents and lose sight of their sense of right and wrong because they are drunk with freedom and dread going back to parental supervision, especially if they know this is the only chance they will get to have freedom before returning back home to a restricted atmosphere if their parents are particularly strict. Aaryn is just another sad example of this happening. Married Aaryn is adored for the fact that she has completely eradicated her lack of tact and now routinely posts videos about being a mother and the struggles that come with it. However her showmance with Pete (part of the reason why she voted back) proved to be so unpopular that she ended up in fifth place, and was also greeted with a lot of boos on the night of the final. Then again, Nikki did sort of end up playing the trope straight - as she was a contestant on ''Ultimate Big Brother'' and finished as the runner up.

(A gamer girl who earned the ire of the fans for being a little stuck up) But while Alex got meaner over time however, after Johnny Mulder left Paras quickly became one of the favourites to win after Kaela. And she ended up winning just like Josh.

* Josh started out as a BIG unlikable character in Big Brother 19 for throwing his own team under the bus for poor reasons (he thought Megan was gunning for him) in the first Head Of Household challenge, but became much more likable after he became a victim of Cody and Jessica's bullying, and even more so when he was the only one with the sense to turn against Paul out of everybody left after the first Double Eviction hit. The silly things he did on the live feeds also helped him look endearing, as well as his soft heart.
