* AlmightJanitor: Skips has solved multiple problems for Mordecai and Rigby, lived for hundreds of years, and knows so much knowledge that he could be world-renowned. Yet for some reason, he chooses to be a simple groundskeeper at a public park that many would consider a dead-end job. Whatever the reason is, it's essentially part of his many mysteries that have never been answered.

* AngerIsHealthyAesop: In "Think Positive," Pops orders Benson to stop yelling at Mordecai and Rigby. Benson can't help it, and keeps yelling. Pops writes him up for demotion, and Benson tries everything he can think of to stop being so angry, but nothing works. Mordecai and Rigby make things worse by being their usual mischievous selves. After bottling up his rage for so long, Benson is surrounded by a fiery orange sphere that sucks in the things around it, until his anger gets released. As bits and chunks of The Park are engulfed by Benson's inferno of containment, Pops realizes that it's not good to bottle up anger and allows Benson to yell at Mordecai and Rigby in the end.

** The Movie has a rather sketchy relationship with the shows timeline. There are obvious omisions like the movie ending with Mordecai and Rigby getting to keep Future Rigby's Time-traveling Space Gunship yet they never have it in the show. And there are more subtle PlotHoles; The movie featuring an EarlyBirdCameo of the Space Tree Station, the SPARK Initiative and the Galactic Park Rangers and even has the heroes (minus Rigby) outright join up with the Rangers at the climax the movie to fight Ross, yet they apparently have no recollection of this when they are actually recruited by the Rangers in Season 8. The most mention the movie gets are scant, overhand references like a Cameo from Ross in the Season 7 fianle and Mordecai and Rigby mentioning the 'timeline where they were space pilots' in the first episode of Season 8.
