** Inumuta's Final Goku Uniform has him sporting the same distinctive red, rhomboid, bridgeless sunglasses worn by ''Anime/TurnAGundam'' CharClone, Harry Ord, mixed with the looks of a Franchise/KamenRider. The suit's powers and the overall emphasis on lithe acrobatics make it a reference to ComicBook/SpiderMan.

** Dandy, QT, and Meow end up jumping from one universe to another, jumping through various animation styles, character designs, and laws of physics as they go. One of the universes was ''[[Manga/AttackOnTitan Attack On Dandy]]''. In another, they're [[Franchise/{{Gundam}} Mobile Suit pilots]], with Dandy specifically being a CharClone... literally.

* ''VideoGame/Persona5'': Masayoshi Shido's first Shadow form is a reference to [[CharClone Char Anzable]] from ''Anime/MobileSuitGundam'', who was also voiced by Creator/ShuichiIkeda and Creator/KeithSilverstein.

** [[CharClone Andrei and his red S37 Terminator which is faster than normal S37]]. The mission you face him is named ''Krasnaya Kometa'', which, when translated to English, is "Red Comet."

** {{The hero}} tearing through a space colony in an [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam experimental white prototype suit]] while the enemy ace is introduced in a [[Main/CharClone fast-flying red equivalent]].

** In addition to ''Franchise/StarTrek'', the series finale is also a giant ShoutOut to ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamCharsCounterattack'', with [[CharClone Evil Coop's]] Mecha #13 bearing a strong resemblance to Sazabi with an army of Zaku lookalikes. For more ''Franchise/{{Gundam}}'' goodness, Evil Kiva's mecha has back extensions reminiscent of the [[Anime/MobileSuitVictoryGundam V2 Gundam's]] Wings of Light emitters.

** In keeping with the tradition of her sisters, Mu sports a {{Franchise/Gundam}}-related color scheme... and being the alternate form of our {{Deuteragonist}} herself, Mu-Noel gets nothing less than the color scheme of [[http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/RX-78-2_Gundam the granddaddy of them all]].

** Izayoi has an attack named Slaver [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam00 Trans-am]]. It summons {{Attack Drone}}s, a Gundam staple. In fact, all of her's moves are named after machines or concepts from {{Franchise/Gundam}}, particularly ''[[Anime/MobileSuitGundamSEED SEED]]'', ''[[Anime/MobileSuitGundamSEEDDestiny Destiny]]'', and ''[[Anime/MobileSuitGundam00 00]]''.

** Archer Altria's NP animations are similar to a {{Franchise/Gundam}} (particularly the maneuvers of Dynames and Cherudim). She even shoots a [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam00 laser that pierces the atmosphere]] and shouts "Lock on!!" when attacking.

** Paris's companion sheep (actually Apollo in disguise) seems to be a curious mix of a [[{{Franchise/Gundam}} Haro]], Snoo/the {{Website/Reddit}} mascot, and [[WesternAnimation/WallE EVE]]. Otherwise, it looks like a near dead-ringer for a [[Characters/PokemonGenerationVVictiniToZoroark Cottonee]].

** Swimsuit Nero's normal attacks contain a fair few super robot shout-outs as well; she's got [[{{Franchise/Gundam}} funnels]], for starters, and one of her attacks is a lesser version of the same Gunbuster Homing Lasers used in her NP, and the might double as a MacrossMissileMassacre reference, too.

** Like a {{Franchise/Gundam}}, Heroine XX's helmet packs either twin [[MoreDakka vulcans]] that fire blue plasma bolts, or automatic plasma guns that ''[[CoconutEffect sound]]'' like vulcans. [[spoiler:Her third ascension reveals that it is actually her ''ahoge'' firing these bolts. Altrium truly is a wonderful material.]]

** As expected, Mecha Tyrael comes packed with quotes referencing many franchises involving mechas, notably {{Franchise/Gundam}} (in particular [[Anime/MobileFighterGGundam G Gundam]]), ''Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion'', and ''Film/PacificRim''.

* ''{{Franchise/Pokemon}}'': Golurk's design is based on the SuperRobot ''Anime/{{Gigantor}}''. Its Japanese name, Goloog, is a nod to another iconic HumongousMecha, the MS-14 Gelgoog from the original ''Anime/MobileSuitGundam''.

** The [[Manga/YuGiOh5Ds manga iteration]] of 5D's has a monster card called "Seven Swords Warrior", easily invoking [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam00 Gundam Exia's]] seven swords, as well as the 00 Gundam Seven Sword from the ''[=00V=]'' manga, and its gold coloring invokes the [[Anime/MobileSuitZetaGundam Hyaku-Shiki]] and [[Anime/MobileSuitGundamSEEDDestiny Akatsuki.

* ''Manga/ExcelSaga'': Episode 22: References ''Anime/SpaceBattleshipYamato'', ''Anime/MobileSuitGundam'', ''Anime/CaptainHarlock'', and ''Anime/QueenEmeraldas''. Also, Excel sings a line from the ''Anime/MartianSuccessorNadesico'' opening in the English dub.
