The big SPRQ Point watch launch is coming up, and Joan is being hard on everyone. After hearing a "heart-song" from her, Zoey realizes Joan is dissatisfied with something. It eventually comes to light that Joan's relationship with her narcissistic husband Charlie -- a legendary game developer who is supposed to present the watch -- is on the rocks. At the launch party, Joan works up the courage to leave him.
Meanwhile, Zoey and David realize that Maggie is having difficulty caring for Mitch by herself, and convince her to take some time off.
