* ScoobyDooHoax: Subverted. The gang initially suspects some sort of hacker or Jeeves, perhaps the professor, reality TV star Horatio Hidalgo, or one of the brothers. However, it's actually S.H.A.R.I., the AI inside the house, That's right, the haunted house itself was the villain the whole time.
* SheatheYourSword: Velma discovers that S.H.A.R.I., the house's AI, thrived on getting attention from people by attacking and terrorizing them, and deduced that the way to defeat it is not to proactively find a way to deactivate it, but to simply refuse to give it what it wants. The gang ends up going to a future fair in Omaha; however, the main attraction the house of the future is closed due to the mysterious disappearance of a teenager. The creator of the house, Professor Ostwald, tells the gang that nothing is wrong; however, after Daphne disappears, the gang has to go back to the house to search for her, but are soon locked in along with the Blather Brothers and the reality TV star, Horatio Hidalgo.
