* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Kurahk's staff gives him the ability to give people uncontrollable rage, which starts working out when it hits Rainbow Dash and kills several of the contestants in her rampage. This alo ends up being his undoing when the enraged Rainbow Dash throws Mungo at him while being absorbed by Sylvia, which causes an explosion that kills them.
* HumanShield: Late into the Glass Bridge game, Not-Velma uses Moxxie to take a shot from a guard's gun that was aimed at her.
* HyperventilationBag: In the first break of the episode, Alphonse uses it to breathe into a paper bag while trying to process what he just went through.
* KickTheDog: Not-Velma just LOVES to viciously insult anyone she can whenever she gets an opportunity to. Probably her cruelest remark is when Bridget tries to raise her team's spirit in chapter two by telling them there's nothing they can't do, Not-Velma's response is "That afterschool shit isn't gonna save your fake-girl ass."
* HeyYouHaymaker: As Panrahk is holding Juno, Mountain gets his attention by tapping on his shoulder before [[HeadCrushing turning Panrahk’s head into a pancake]].
* HopeSpot: When the remaining contestants in the Glass Bridge game notice Vorahk attacking the guards, it gives them hope of a chance they might escape. Unfortunately, that's when Not-Velma sets her own plan into motion and succeeds in getting every contestant killed except for Mae. Speaking of Mae, when Velma betrays everyone, she grabs Zoe's hand and they seemingly make it to the end together. But when she turns to Zoe, she discovers that she’s only holding her hand, which then disintegrates.
* HyperventilationBag: Alphonse spends the first break breathing into a paper bag as he tries to process what he just went through.
* HypocrisyNod: Max ends his Team Introduction wondering where Sam is since you can't have one without the other. At least until he realizes this might help him increase his chances of that solo run he’s always wanted, to which he embraces his sudden hypocrisy.

* HumanShield: Late into the Glass Bridge game, Not-Velma uses Moxxie to take a shot from a guard's gun that was aimed at her.
* HyperventilationBag: In the first break of the episode, Alphonse uses it to breathe into a paper bag while trying to process what he just went through.
* KickTheDog: Not-Velma just LOVES to viciously insult anyone she can whenever she gets an opportunity to. Probably her cruelest remark is when Bridget tries to raise her team's spirit in chapter two by telling them there's nothing they can't do, Not-Velma's response is "That afterschool shit isn't gonna save your fake-girl ass."
* HeyYouHaymaker: As Panrahk is holding Juno, Mountain gets his attention by tapping on his shoulder before [[HeadCrushing turning Panrahk’s head into a pancake]].
* HopeSpot: When the remaining contestants in the Glass Bridge game notice Vorahk attacking the guards, it gives them hope of a chance they might escape. Unfortunately, that's when Not-Velma sets her own plan into motion and succeeds in getting every contestant killed except for Mae. Speaking of Mae, when Velma betrays everyone, she grabs Zoe's hand and they seemingly make it to the end together. But when she turns to Zoe, she discovers that she’s only holding her hand, which then disintegrates.
